haley and andy reminded me of claire and phil, they were such a cute and great couple, they need to get back together

So sad they don't make Andy and Hayley endgame when they are clearly the most mature and develop couple from the show. Beside, they changed each other so much and for the best, Hayley get one of the most amazing dvp from a teenager in any show, and even fiction, I feel really bad if they screw their relationship because they got something beautiful.

I heard even Sarah Hyland was hoping her character will end up with Andy. It's such a pity really...I just can't stand Dylan.

It's funny how Haley had finally accepted that she could do better than Dylan by S5 and they forced it back? Dylan is not like Phil, he's a nice guy but Haley was much smarter than Claire was when she met him. I am the first person to tell people to let it go when they say she should have ended up with Andy but it made sense, Andy IS like Phil, his best qualities, it made perfect sense than Haley going back to Dylan.

Fans need to realize that the actor that played Andy did not want to remain a regular on the show so they wrote him out. You can't force people to be where they don't want to, so the show goes on. It happens and shows have to adjust. Same thing happened with Mindy/Danny on The Mindy Project.

Andy and Haley were like a younger Claire and Phil. Loveable nerd and the popular party girl.

Haley was always at her best when she was with Andy but she kept regressing back to Dylan, it was annoying. The only thing worse was the weatherman twice her age.

They still have S10, so I guess I'm going to hope till the end she ends up with Andy. I just don't get why the show cannot make that happen. Full house brought back Steve in the last episode and it was perfect back then. Maybe something similar can happen.

I hope Andy will return in season 10, because I feel like Alex will end up with Arvin. Haley and Arvin just doesn't feel right. Also the writers must have noticed that EVERY modern family fan hopes that Haley and Andy will get back together. But maybe they wrote this as an ending because Adam Devine (Andy) doesn't want to be in the show? I personally hope that he at least could be in like 3 episodes in season 10 as Haley's boyfriend

I know the guy who played Andy didn’t want to be on the show anymore but they still should’ve let Andy and Haley end up together and just say he’s in another state for work and use his voice for calls/FaceTime like Meaghan Markles character in Suits

I loved the part that comes later in episode when Nathan Fillion rushes in her hospital room, and had like 2 sentences and less than 10 seconds of screen time.

Haley was always popular and into the dating scene, so one thing about this show I really love is that they showcased a vivid relationship life for her - She had four big relationships in the show - One with Dylan, Andy, Rainer, and Arvin. They were all fleshed out very well, the dating party was always personable and had sufficient depth, and I think the audience never felt short-changed regarding their time with them. But damnit, Andy always distinctly felt like "the one" to me! This is due to the writers I'm sure, their chemistry seemed the undisputed best to me - It was the most intimate and sweet, and easily felt deepest out of all the relationships. Why, oh why, didn't they end up together?!! I assume the actor had other acting commitments, and was subsequently written out of the show, it's the only logical explanation I can think of since it's what I've heard from other RU-vid commenters. I'm guessing the creators of the show might not want to make this an official statement, so that the Dylan-Haley ending feels organic. I do see this ending as life being full of unexpected twists and turns, and things not ending up how you think they would. But I was so fully invested in and loved the Haley-Andy relationship, I honestly wouldn't have minded if Claire went off the rails, and learnt from Gloria, how to drug and kidnap, just to get Dylan out of the picture, and dump him in the middle of nowhere, just to get the Andy and Haley relationship back on track. They could raise the twins together, even! That's how much I loved their relationship... okay, maybe not that much - but it was damn close, damnit! I just think Dylan's family taking Claire to court would be too dramatic and off-centre of an ending, though it could give Mitchell some great lawyer spotlight. Anyway, oh well, I like Dylan well enough, but Andy is "the one that got away" to me. My passion is clearly evident in my near-willingness to derail the show.

I know that these comments are somewhat useful for the writers so.. Please bring Andy back in. His interactions with Phil, Jay, Manny are priceless! I can think of so many funny ideas with him in the cast. The weird new boyfriend is a little funny, but not very likeable. Andy was such a great character.

LIKE THEY LEFT WITH HEARTBREAKING SCENE AND SO IN LOVE THEN NOW, HE WILL JUST TELL ABOUT HIS NEW GF. Having Hayley end up with Dylan was one of the worst decisions this show made, if not THE worst. Hayley had so much character development and growth over the years and Andy brought out the best in her and encouraged her to be her best self- Dylan stayed the idiotic, unmotivated artistic mess he always was. He heard Hayley had a hospital emergency and even after all the years of possible character development, he was the same guy as always and he stopped for tacos, how he was endgame I’ll never know.

At least put up the entire thing. 🤦

I honestly feel like the showrunners were planning on having andy and Haley end up together, but something came in the way so the guy whos playing Andy had to step off. So they just had to force Haley and Dyland's relationship back. Sadly. I just don't get why they would spend seasons building up their relationship and just have it end so suddenly just when they really started to get real.
