Can't find it. I feel like here in Germany it's difficult to find a CHEAP filter for my CZ CM4 that was delivered with a GP5. FP5 filters are to expensive for me, because I only want to play around with it.

This is amazing ,now we can use the gp5 with out woring about the possible harm that the asbestos can cause to us .I was not aware of that filters while considering buying a gp5 so i didin,t bought one ,thanks.

Just bought one for $36 including shipping. Worth it. Edit: the one I bought was green instead of black so I'm just gonna hope someone didn't just slap a sticker on an old gp-5 filter and call it new

Very werid to think how 2 layers of...whatever paper thingy and a layer of charcoal lets you breathe safely in the middle of a highly toxic gas. For a limited time, of course but still.

One way to prevent causing envy when out and about with a quality filter mask like that would be to have written on your T-shirt, 'I may already have an illness, just trying not to spreading it!', but no doubt people around would probably appreciate you wearing a full suit as well if you were going to do that

hey mate, haven't been able to catch one of your live streams yet but was just wondering if you know anything about Sundström brand masks? only mask I can get locally is a Sundström sr200, its quite expensive so want to make sure it will be ok. it uses 40mm filters I think or proprietary ones I'm thinking of getting it with Sundström SR510 P3 Particle Filter, and a few Tyvek suits should protect me if i need to go out.

I have a us korean war gas mask(m1 optical) that was unissues. What are the odds any asbestos particles getting into the mask? Disconnected the filter and washed it so hope that has made it safe

Off topic... what is your opinion on respro and like neoprene pollution masks? If not a topic for direct response maybea topic for future content. I often wear a chinisium knockoff for allergies, drywall dust, and worst of all brake dust and etc. I found myself in full seasonal allergies and put on the mask for thirty minutes and be symptom free. Having a chronic pulmonary disease akin to pulmonary fibrosis limiting exposure to irritants is paramount. Not catching ANYTHING that can encourage pneumonia critical.

I recently purchased a Yugoslavian m1 and I'm not sure if it's 60mm filters contain asbestos or not?

Hey mate I kinda need your help. My little brother got to my gp5 gasmask somehow and I found it ~1-2 years later in his room. He must have left it to the elements because it is grosly discoloured, having turned a poo brown on one side.... also my mum threw away my asbestos filter for it because she felt uncomfortable having it in the house even tho it was sealed away in a glass cabinet with the original caps still on and unremoved. Can I somehow save at least the gasmask? I am afraid that it might turn to dust because I think the latex is getting porose. Or do I need to buy a new one? At least then I have the filter back I guess
