This build was made for my new workshop and being a person who does a lot of stainless steel work I think this will going to look awesome as my workshop gate. This is an extremely time-consuming build for me because I have to do this thing twice and being a stainless steel finishing also took a tremendous amount of time. For me, this build is definitely a huge challenge and even it took more than two months I felt that I accomplished it very well. despite that, I have to do all of it alone. Sometimes if my brother came on weekends he helped a lot during this build. The material used is 304 stainless steel. For the design, I took inspiration from few different types of designs and ended up fusing all of them for my build. I go with a design that looks like half of the portion emerges from the area where I mounted the sheet.
One downside of this design is that there is some amount of thermal warpage that happens to the mainframe and that is total because there was no brace in the middle which prevents the entire frame from collapsing. I am definitely aware of that thing but I neglect it and since I wanted to look at the door fairly consistent from both sides that's why I didn't weld any brace at the backside.
Being a main gate of the workshop and made totally out of stainless I left some amount of gap between both of them to prevent any collision due to thermal expansion because in the afternoon direct sunlight falls on the door and it became way too hot.
