Good practical demonstration of traditional & modern shaving. If I were to summarize, traditional shave lasts longer, is much more smoother, is more natural hence good for the skin, and costs practically nothing over several years of use. Modern shaving makes your skin dry, is harmful for the skin in the long run, is marketing driven focusing on speed and convenience. The funny thing is that in today's world when the quality of traditional shaving tools like shaving creams/ soaps/ brushes have improved, the time taken to shave is almost the same!!! At the end of the day its a personal choice and I wish everyone has an opportunity to experience wet shaving for that amazing smooth, perfect shave. Great job, Joy.

Traditional wet shaving is simply miles ahead Joy, no doubt about that. Last month I tried Taconic Eucalyptus mint shaving soap of USA, I suggest you must try if you haven't. I ordered it from Amazon. Keep doing great work.

Sir Gillette vector 3 jo hai uski blade kitne samay tak acche se chalti hai aur market me iska 1 blade kitne price ka milta hai . Actually sir mai pehli baar shave ke liye koi ryzor le rha hu mai confuse hu ki kon sa lu Gillette vector 3 ya phir Gillette 7 o'clock sterling . Maine pehli baar plastic cap wale ryzor se shaving ki thi.

You can definitely use coconut oil. But coconut oil is comedogenic and can cause acne in some people because the oil can block the pores. Use a non comedogenic preshave oil instead if you have such problems.

I prefer safety razor anytime , but have no evidence to prove the statement on hardening of beard by a multi blade one

Well i still feel cartridge razor are way better than safety razor because they are less prone to cuts and burns and very easy to use don't require much setup. Good for fast shave and doesn't require angle to setup. Vector 2 blades are quite good of you if think mach 3 will promote in grown hair

Sir aap kitne samay se mach 3 use kar rahe ho .mai jab safety razor try karta to mujhe neck area mai hamesha halka blood aa jata hai but maine jabse mach 3 use kiya usse na redness hoti or na hi cuts lagte hain

Hello Joy how are you, hope enjoying the lock down, kindly review The Zorik double edge plastic safety razor sometime available in the local market for twenty rupees, although the built quality of this razor is not like that of the Gillette 7o'clock plastic razor but I found it to be more efficient and aggressive than the Gillette 7o'clock plastic razor black one available for houndred rupees in the local market, thanks, enjoy your self.

I suggest start with Sterling to know how DE shaving works and then try heavier razors as required , first learning the skill is important then there are various products to explore. Ideally shave on 2 to 3 days growth when new to wet shaving and focus should be to follow the steps without getting any cuts or irritation rather than closeness.

Hello Joy.. I have two Cow Licks on my lower neck and I find it very difficult to shave around it, I have shifted from cartridge to DE razor 2 month's ago but I still find it difficult to shave the Cow Lick parts... Please help

Hi Nikhil, this may help manage shaving the cow licks. 1. Shave every 2 or 3 days with mild razor but sharp blade, 2. use warm water for preparation 3. Face cleansing is must with a non drying face wash . I thin this should help , but again I am not an expert

when i do ATG.... bleeding starts from skin, it happens with new razor also i hv tried many razors like - Gillette vector, presto, guard, supermax long handle, laser sports 3 etc...... give me guidance

Good comparison. English please. Sometimes you require a disposable razor and foam. Relax yourself from the usual. Explain how to break a boar brush. I have one and i am unable to break it.
