A guy asked me out the other day at the hardware store, and I told him I was married. He said, "Women like you always are." I told my husband about it, and I was chuckling and I said, "Yeah, chubby middle aged old ladies..." My husband replied, "No, he meant vaguely polite kind women."

Honestly I think it's at least as much internet culture as it is the misconception of being strong and independent, like many other feminist ideals or other ideals from all types of people and groups I believe the idea of being "strong and independent" has been hijacked and distorted by people who have very extreme world views. The internet has made a massive amount of people verbally aggressive and socially combative. I also believe the ability the internet gives to be completely anonymous while also socializing is cognitively contradictory and is completely foreign to any highly social species including humans and has had a profound effect on peoples' social skills.

What she didnt realize is that her loud combativeness was harming her own image of myself in her head. It may have been an emotional pay off every time she instigated a confrontation with you and you didn't leave, or that she went toe-to-toe (so to speak) with a strong man and relished the drama? learn to love men. "Love" not necessarily on a huge scale, but understand and appreciate what they do. Don't be an a-hole of a woman. There is no love towards men at all. But that means women have 0 value. What value does she really have for a man? She has no empathy, sympathy, I think they can't experience sympathy anymore. So what value? She doesn't answer, she does what she wants, she completely disregards, ignores my position, my needs, my emotion. In fact I think she enjoys watching the pain she causes on men. Why do I need this in my life? Am I approaching a woman to be beaten up and miserable? Then I am not going to approach at all. What am I a biorobot-slave to her? What value does she offer? Nothing. She is not a good person, she does not have common sense, manners. She is an uncontrolled psycho a-hole, who think the rest of the world owes her her happiness. An overgrown spoiled child. That's a feminist or a typical woman. Where is her maturity and understanding that she needs to give something too, that she needs a family or anything else a normal woman should want or need? That it's her family too. Nothing. And then they wonder why we don't want them. Because they have 0 value at all. There is no love. If you can't experience love towards men, then you only manipulate, you only will have fake relationships with fake empty words, but no real feelings, nor conscious understanding of what's going on and what has to be done. Love has to be learned little by little.

Can't you use your head? Is it too hard to think by yourself? Are you dumb?" Dad: "Can't you just tell me what you want?" Mom: "Think! What did I tell you 2 weeks ago?" Dad: "I don't remember; that's why I'm asking you!" Mom: "Well then, you'll have to guess!" Dad: ... Those combative episodes always lead to fights and get her absolutely nowhere. It would be much simpler to communicate what she wants or needs, but it's like she has this deep desire for conflict and complications. Don't get me wrong, I love her to death. But I would absolutely never tolerate that kind of behavior towards me from a romantic partner. It would be the biggest turn-off, a deal-breaker. As a man, I 100% agree with this. And I swear, a woman like that is not "weak" in my eyes; she becomes irresistible in my eyes, and she disarms me, no matter how strong I am, she literally disarms me completely with such a feminine attitude. And if I'm her man, I would die for her. I could be a muscular hulk, and the testosterone or stress or whatever gets me angry in some instance, and if my woman reacts with softness, vulnerability, and sweetness, instead of mirroring me and becoming confrontational, I'll become like a silent, sad child in front of her. And I'd feel a thousand times guiltier if that's her attitude after I wronged her at a moment like that, than if she mirrored my masculine energy. A real woman can have and take anything she wants from a man by simply being a woman ... a real woman, not a so-called "modern" one with today's modern standards, which are merely the standards that the ruling corporate elite have set with their propaganda and brainwashing.

I went online to discuss how undesirable this woman is. No way the any male would fall for a woman with no soft edges. As a result I never attracted the kind of men I was interested in and explained it away as "oh I'm not their type/ my hips are too wide/ nose too big". After another failed relationship ended in my mid 30s I did the inner healing and stopped seeing men as the enemy. I became softer, more feminine and more fun. I met my now husband at 42 and had more high quality men interested in me in my late 30s & early 40s than the whole of my 20s and early 30s. Of course looks are important but their not the whole story - men are much more sensitive to energy than most women give them credit for and masculine men don't generally find angry, hostile women attractive.

The other one, more plain except she has a warm bright smile and soft voice that was a pleasure to listen to. I focused on the more plain girl because she was genuinely nice and positive. The other one headed off to find more attentive males while my new friend and I talked about so many subject, long past the event ending, she talked about her husband who died of convid 2 years ago. I thought she was about 28 but after exchanging more information you is a very young 39 with sparkling lively eyes, soft feminine voice with soothing tones and quick sincere smile. By the end of the evening her plain appearance became very attractive to me and we have a date for tomorrow night. If photos alone were the criteria most 90% of men would have selected her friend. I suspect if the whole person was evaluated, her plain friend would have been very popular. That is the problem with dating apps, they focus on the superficial so the wrong choices are made.. I tell everyone looking for a mate to stay away from social media and dating apps, but instead go out in the community and do things that bring you happiness and you will find you have something in common with every other person there doing the same thing. I am older tat this new friend, a lot older and if she saw my age on a dating app, she would have not given me a second look. But getting to know each other through great conversation in person seems to level the playing field. Stay of of dating apps and instead go things you enjoy and would want to continue with or without a relationship. You have so much more in common with those doing it for the same reason.

@@silica456 I have not seen this post again so did not respond. The date was really enjoyable, and we have met again about twice a week. I had to go to another city for a movie in the middle of that for 9 days, and when I returned from my role in the film, she invited me for a home cooked meal. One thing that really changed however is her dressing, she has been dressing in much more feminine styles that really is flattering on her. No jeans since the second date, dresses or coordinated outfits. We have proposed activities the other has not done before, so on the third date just before leaving she took my to her class on Tango dance. I am a decent dancer, and enjoy it a lot but Tango is another world, it is so romantic. There were more girls in the class than men by 2 to one so the men alternated women with the male instructor so every women got at least every other dance a male partner. A great place for men to find feminine women, and be in great demand. The date after my return from the filming, after the home cooked meal following night we attended a favorite opera in one of the most elegant opera houses in the world built in the 1700s and we both dressed formally and it was really an elegant evening. It was a last minute suggestion because one of the featured singers, a woman I have done a few projects with, called to say she had tickets for me. So it was the cheapest date date but worth a million bucks. The city we live in is probably the most cultured in the world, with more world class museums than all the US combined, and 54 classical music theaters, and stunning architecture so just walking around the city is late into the night is an romantic experience. Me in my tux and her in a floor length gown walking, until sunrise, no one batted an eye. I really appreciate how much effort she puts into looking elegant and feminine, changed her hair style, changed her makeup, she has great healthy skin. Tomorrow we are taking a train to hike in the forest and pick berries, and if it is warm, swim in a lake. I have made changed also, a new Iranian master barber was told to do what ever he could and he is skilled. She has not seen the new me, shorter length, razor cut, reshaped short beard, waxing ears, nose, eyebrow sculpting. What a change. I renewed my gym membership with a more intense routine so we both are making an effort. I know a lot of women, and dated many real beauties, mostly actors and models, and really enjoy them but it is so easy to be with Victoria, her voice is so soft and kind sounding, I have never heard her say anything that was not kind about the subject or other people or too other people. We stopped in a Irish pub on a walk from an art exhibition, and had a beer, and the waitress spilled a little foam on Victoria's top and her response was that she was concerned about the waitress might be embarrassed. I asked her is she ever gets angry and she thought a bit and responded, "yes, if someone threatens my family". I promised not to do that.

Which will make them realize that it means that when a Mn does what he's asked to do, he's doing it for her/them, not because it's something he "knows" he's "supposed to do" and "get done" due to some unwritten rule/law/obligation. Because that would mean they have to show appreciation for the things a Mn has chosen to do for them because he/they wanted to do it for her/them and not because of some overarching obligation like most Wmn expect and want a Mn to do. Which aggravates most of them since it would mean no longer having to go on easy mode and having to just wait for things to be done for them and actively be conscious of Mn's hard work and do/give something in for said Mn in return; and that very idea, of being the ones to provide or give something in return, even as a form of reciprocation for a Mn's actions, to a Mn goes against their entitlement and narcissism.

Sometimes, you men may need to draw the line and steer her straight. When I need straightening, she helps me too and we pray together which makes all the difference.

My husband and I had the same chat. I do believe tho, if he put it online he would have added the part where I did tell him what I needed from him after he came home. Because I too, as a SAHM of three kids under 4yo had worked hard all day! Dad got his 30 minutes to unwind after greeting the children and then he took over the child care duties and I got 30 minutes to myself to relax as well. Been happily married long enough that we are now watching grandkids.

@AmericanDuck
@AmericanDuck Год назад
@@melissalowe3856 no, I doubt PPD was it. I could write a book why she is what she is now that I’m out of the relationship. She’s very outgoing and likable when you first meet her. But over time all her relationships fade. She makes a great impression, but over time she loses interest with about everything. She loved doing things with her kids, and was always finding ways to go out and have fun with them. At home, I was doing well above her to be honest. It was her not keeping up her end. We are talking about a stay at home mom with a husband that made good, but not great money in a full time job. Her job was to raise kids and run a home. I did everything a man could do to make her happy. I supported all her decisions. I was in her corner on everything. She was first above all others. I did everything she asked me to do and more, but it was always more. Nothing was enough. I was cooking dinner every night, doing all the dishes while she sat and watched tv with the kids. Cooking every meal on the weekends. Cleaning the kitchen every day, cleaning the bathrooms, all the outdoor work, fixing the cars, picking up kids from school, all my personal laundry and occasionally the kids as well. The older she got, the more things bothered her and the more help she would ask for and I would do it thinking she needed the help. Any kind of cleaning she did resulted in angry lectures about how dirty everyone was. She would clean about once every couple of months and laundry once a week. That’s it. I got to the point where I was doing all the housework. She sat around or was with her friends out in town when the kids were in school. She wanted the fun, but not the work. She wanted to spend but not earn. Her friends had husbands that made $350k/yr and I only made $110k/yr. They had housekeepers and ate out every night. She spent like them and hid the debt she created. She joined them on girls weekends out of town and left me at home with the kids. She got heavily with Feminist thought. Any pro-woman movement stuff. Hated the President, started spouting misandrist things, and got overly political. No idea where this all came from. I got upset at the balance in our lives and how she was angry and changing and she claimed how her life wasn’t going like she thought. She took the kids and filed for divorce. Then the shock of debt hit. Hidden spending built up over the years. House sold to pay the debt, alimony, child support, her going through job after job, her getting fired from two jobs. Oh BTW she has a Master’s degree, and I am a HS graduate. Really she’s just never satisfied, burns bridges, burns out friends, doesn’t accept responsibility, etc. I am an extremely loyal person, but honestly it was me that should have stepped away, but it didn’t really sink in until after our second child just how much she was unable to endure her own life choices and not want to escape to something new. Now she’s dead broke. Always going to parties and closing the bars every single weekend. I will likely take the kids at some point and she will end up in AA and miserable and then who knows. Opinions I’m sure are coming, but I could care less.

This woman's personality isn't just common with women. I've seen guys like this, too. As a guy myself, I have told friends there is a thin line between being funny and being a jerk. I'm not a psychologist, but it might have something to do with impulse control or responding without thinking about how your words will make the other person feel. Unfortunately people like her (and my friends) won't get it if a BF/GF tells them this. They would have to be embarrassed in a setting like this for them to get it, and sometimes that doesn't work.

Meanwhile, you listen to her ramblings until she says: you know me so much! You understand me so much!! While all you did was being "present" and "listening". Just like fights: if you are enraged, try to use logic; you tell me if it's possible: Nope. We are in logical mode before the fight, but if somethings triggers us.. we need to calm down before proceeding.. that's why people regrets the "after arguments", cause they change from emotional back to logical.. and realize how stupid it was/they were. Since we, as men, are supposed to be the more logical ones, let them vent/rage/express themselves; after, you'll have a sweet kitty purring at your side. *Sadly, lot of men are fed up with accumulation of these emotional bursts, and then just simply give up. *raise my hand I, for one, got tired of it. 66 year old woman here. I've been married for 42 years to a man who loves me and has always done everything he can to make me happy. But I've done the same for him. I also never expected him to change who he is. It's not about you, you, you. The only time it is all about you is mother's day- if you're a mom- or your birthday. Otherwise it's about us, us, us and our family. There is a balance that you both have to figure out. Sometimes it will tilt a little your way and sometimes sometimes a little his way. Communication and showing each other respect is very important. Feminism over the years has told us that we don't need a man. We can do just fine without them. That's true. We can have a great career making as much money as any man in whatever field we're in. We can join the military, dig ditches, do construction, anything we want. We also need to be women. Be feminine. You don't have to give up any of your rights as a woman to give a man love and respect.

We're talking a lifetime under the same roof, raising a family and growing old together. People change over time, but the core qualities remain constant. This is why it's so important for the individual to focus on improving _themselves_ and not the other person. To acknowledge that we are flawed and need to work on it for the sake of the other. A mutual quest for self-improvement leads to an awesome relationship.
