Would this also apply to Christian maternity photos? I noticed a lot of them that are posted online have become increasingly sexed up, with pregnancy as the excuse to overexpose bodies on social media.

Michelle, thank you for sharing this! My husband has definitely brought awareness to me about this. He says gym outfits are to revealing and coming from an athletic background it’s been a bit hard to not wear these items. I’m used to wearing a lot of form fitting clothing so it’s been a struggle to make a change but it’s also revealed an idol in my heart. (Also I’m not saying form fitting clothes is not modest) it’s all subjective and everyone has different convictions. However this is what my husband feels is not okay for me to where and I want to make the shift for the Lord. Please pray so I can place my value in Christ and not clothing. ☺️

coming from athletic background I agree- but even if you’re not trying to be sexy I noticed a lot of women sports dress more sexy as a whole- for example the women who play volleyball or tennis etc etc - versus the men’s uniforms. It’s like they set the girls up to be sexualized

I always wear a long sleeve big t shirt to the gym that covers my butt. My pants are either baggy sweats or tight leggings but shirts are always big

Thank you for making this video. About a year into marriage, YHWH convicted me to go on a Modesty journey from always having my midriff exposed, always showing heavy cleavage, and to change the posture of my heart. Right before I received that conviction, I was chastised at the gym for dressing immodestly... a CHRISTIAN gym, and it made me angry! I now realize that I was wrong to be angry and I should have been an example of a woman of the WORD; especially as a young wife. Now I desire Modesty over any crop top, skintight dress, or vulgar conversation; TMH has refined me and transformed me from a woman into a lady. Your channel helps me in my journey as well! Thank you!❤️

I used to really enjoy the all women gym inside the YMCA in my city. A lot of the girls felt more comfortable doing certain stretches and squats in there. Now I do pole fitness and pilates or stretching or dance classes and my classes are majority woman sometimes a gay guy might join here or there. It wasn’t on purpose, but I’ve never enjoyed going to the gym without instruction so I enjoy classes! prior I also tried crossfit which included men and woman but the gym was super family oriented. I truly feel like if there was a guy with no shirt or a girl in thirst trap clothing they would look silly and out of place at that gym

Thank you sm! I used to dress with less modesty before and I’m growing up and changing that, I feel like I’m being so judgmental with these kind of thoughts but it just clarified it’s the holy spirit changing my heart. I need to not put so much focus on other people but just know what I want to do with my body now that I am a Christian

Nothing says you've become a Christian like immediately starting to judge people for the things you only recently stopped doing yourself. I appreciate modesty, but I don't need to side-eye people while promoting it.
