apologies if i'm late to the party, what make is the forend and did you have to make any modifications to it to make it fit?

Only if you forgive me for not logging in until now :) The forend I equipped in this video (and that I currently run, and ran when I last played airsoft) is a SureFire DSF-870 forend. APS makes an adapter which goes inside the front of the DSF-870 and is supposed to make it work flawlessly with their cradle. I bought one, installed it and tightened the forend nut. Works perfectly and I haven't looked back since. My team mate however forgot to insert the adapter and simply tightened the forend nut after installing the DSF-870. It also works flawlessly and he hasn't looked back since. I still have a spare adapter in my parts bin if any kind of problem arises, but for the both of us things are working great. I can't really give any advice one way or the other. Install the DSF-870 with the adapter, without the adapter, buy an adapter to keep on hand just in case, or don't buy the adapter... try your luck, adopt, adapt, overcome.

By the way, do you have spare adapters and screws to sell? And just as well and ask you to, I can send a body frame to you to drill and tap the holes? Of course for a fee and I do live in Sweden.

The diameter of the drill guide is the same as the width of the receiver. I don't remember the exact dimensions by heart, but you can measure your own receiver with some calipers. The middle hole is 2mm, since that is the smallest diameter metal drill I have. You can adjust it to your own hardware. Just remember that larger hole equals larger margin of error.
