This car squeaks and rattles like crazy, but I absolutely love it. If you don't want to hear me talk just skip ahead and let the car do the talking.
I highly recommend wearing earphones with this video.
The rod-ends need to be checked for sure, it is squeaking abnormally in this video, that's why I didn't dare to go too fast on the u-turn bridge.

Absolutely amazing dude. I remember all the mk1 and mk2 escorts on the roads as a child. I always wanted an Rs. Maybe 1 day lol. Fantastic car bro

Congrats on this masterpiece - I am starting the journey on a MK2 build pretty much the same but going with the ST170 Duratec with a RX8 gearbox - What diff are you using - MX5 ratios looks dialled in. What type of quarter mile times are you clocking?

Thanks mate, I believe the diff is from a Mitsubishi Starion. Quarter mile time i dont know to be honest

Just found this video, great just what I wanted to see . Is that a air con unit I see in front of gear stick? Our cars have heaters in uk . Never seen ac in old cars here . The streets there look like Philippines I spent some time there.

Thanks! The air con is an aftermarket unit. You can get fancier ones, but this will do the job.

Sounds amazing what's the size of the exhaust and what mufflers and resonators do you use. I would love to see some drag racing accelerations and flybys🙏

In this video the exhaust was still 2" diameter with some low end after market mufflers. I have since upgraded them to a 2.5 inch system and higher compression pistons. The car is still a work in progress. Will upload more videos when its done. Thanks

Can you tell me what hvac vent you put in your dash? Sourcing original vents sure is expensive so I might have to 3D print a pair but I like the look of yours

lol that's great! I will be posting an update about this car soon. Good question about the final drive. I am using the rear axle of a Mitsubishi Starion. It is a torsion LSD, and I chose it over the Toyota AE86 one because its more robust (so I've been told). I honestly don't know what the ratio is, but I think it is 3.54?
