some work done by Mazdatrix / KMR Customer rotors in for full service and modification for a GSLSE RX8 Hybrid build www.kylemohanracing.com/ ebay www.ebay.com/str/gokmr
Wow, nice work! I noticed that unlike the rotors in the stationary gears they do not have racing bearings fitted! I was wondering why this choice was made! I have also always wondered why the racing bearing when used is only mounted on the rear stationary gear but not on the front stationary gear!
@user-rs5yh3ey4t Whether you go with a 3 window race bearing or multi-window main... Properly set up, both can easily achieve a thousand horsepower and 10,000rpm. Sometimes I feel like race rotor bearings and three window mains displace a little too much oil at times. Especially on a three rotor.
@Side_Sh0 No. Its alive. I just doesn't pay the bills. Sorry to say I would personally not do a semi p port motor and run it, na. Cool idea... Just not in my plans.
I love your RU-vid channel but with that being said you never give us prices w much it would cost to drop 20b in an Rx -8 or an Rx -7 engine in an Rx -8 and if you can use ECU from the Rx-8.
Hybrid motors have proven sub par results regardless. Still staying tuned for the hybrid updates as I find it interesting (hopefully get a dyno sheet) but he’s probably busy with other builds so the hybrid motor is on the back burner.
@henrylima6974 There are actually a few builds out there and there is documented information. I've even posted a video with the Mazdatrix. Dyno chart. 420 to 440hp at 14psi t4 turbo. Street port hybrid build. That actually respectable numbers.
