I plan on covering modding more in the future because I genuinely believe mods are going to surpass official content/patches. What mods would you like to see?
Hey, I just wanted to thank you for your Silent Handlers mod. It really gives more scenes and reveals the time to breathe that they deserve. Also really excited for you to cover more mods!
$5 for an escalation that can be easily recreated in contracts mode feels like a scam. It's also pretty pathetic how the modding community managed to make so many improvements to game overall AND add fresh and interesting content to the game while IO needed two months to bring back the requiem pack, can't even fix every bugged challenge, and thinks a bunch of escalations is good enough for new content. That custom mission pack by Kevin is amazing, the offline Elusive Targets mod allowed me to play ETs I never got to play, and those QOL mods make the game so much better! Great video as always!
My biggest beef with the dlc is there isn't a lot of content to let me use all my unlockables. It's fine to add more suits, items, but if you aren't adding challenges or open level content (like patient zero), then the unlockable loop isn't working. Fine I get new stuff, but I'm looking forward to them adding reworked levels at least. I think it they add some new mission challenges it would go a long way too..
My biggest issue with Hitman 3 as a whole is there are barely any starting locations where you can choose whatever suit you want. Chongqing has the most with 3 locations, Dubai and Berlin only have 1, and Carpathian Mountains doesn't have any. They could've had you start at the bar or garden in Dubai and at the Chill out and on the dance floor in Berlin, but they didn't. The lack of use for suits is really weird considering Hitman 3 has so many unlockable suits. There's 5 suits unlocked from level mastery, the Raver for beating the Berlin Egg Hunt, 6 suits from the Deluxe Edition, and presumably 7 suits from the 7DS pack. I didn't carry over my progress so at least now I can replay Hitman 1 and 2 to get some use out of Hitman 3's suits/items.
i love how a lot of these mods (silent diana, ultimate lighting, shoulder swap) are actually just fixes to the game that IOI should have done by themselves
That "Greed" joke was on point my man! Also, the mods showed, I would add a menu organizer to that but wtf doesnt IO see these obvious things....I am losing faith. Thanks for the vid!
IOI sold me a contract with a lens filter on it disguised (hehe) as a DLC and decided that an immediate fail upon being seen condition AND not being able to skip the opening cutscene would be a good idea. Oh and buggy coin drops, leaving many of my runs at 58 or 59 despite doing everything right. Real missed opportunity to not have the goldballer be a reward for finishing the DLC (or maybe for unlocking the Grandmaster challenge). I still enjoyed it but the flaws are glaring.
It only takes one year after release to patch the shoulder camera back in Hitman 3. (without aiming) I really like the old and new games, but this was one of the stupidest things I ever saw. The explanation and excuses why this function was not there after release is making me laughing. My opinion! Every third person shooter needs a shoulder camera switch. Hey Kotti. I ve been watching some SP on hitman blood money and i would love to see one as fast as it can be done. No caring about rank nor notoriety no nothing, Just beating the games as fast as it can be done. I would love to see that
Modding? How even? Why did it take so long? What changed with Hitman 3 that allows modding as opposed to the other two? I know there were very minor (and janky) mods for them, but that was because the game was very anti-mods and rejected changes or whatever. So... what the hell. This is the best thing that could happen to any game. I will never understand the anti-modding stance from some devs/publishers. It literally makes your game that much better for free, and you may even get new content made for you. It's a no-brainer.
I think reality sank in for me already that there is no post server shut down plan, and modding is our only saving grace. That said, I'm not worried anymore, because I'm confident in the community to solve these issues if IO refuses to.

Hitman is such a disappointment imo. The gameplay mechanics and animations all feel so basic and lazy. It only seems like a AAA game because of the graphics. I did enjoy playing some levels but there's just so much more they could do with this game
