I considered the mini uzi to be one of the worst guns in Last Day on Earth for a long time. I didn't know that its weapon mods would have such a big impact on its performance. No other gun in the game changes as drastically as the uzi does with mods, and that's why it feels like a completely different weapon with its best mods are equipped.

Uzi is rarer than a m16 and it's mods are expensive, that's why people prefer modding either the glock or the m16 before starting on uzis.

Good point! I do feel like I have around the same number of uzis and aks though. A weapon drop probability chart would be an interesting project to see completed.

Actually I have like 13 in my inbox get a ton from season passes and events though from bunker Alfa and pd they're quite rare

The highest DPS you can make the uzi is 187. It would be awesome if you could load all those mods and compare it with your current setup

if you use a ergonomic grip you literally dont miss at all. i started using ergonomic grip and never missed once in the whole time ive been using uzi's on the other hand the tactical grip makes you miss alot more but in my opinion i like ergonomic alot more

Gun mods in ldoe are pretty set and stoned. But Uzi mods are a little room for experimenting. That's why I like Uzi.

Well put! It made planning out this particular video a bit more difficult. I thought for sure that the tactical upgrade was better than the ergonomic grip, but saw quite a few comments that the grip's extra stability offset the tactical stats. That's why I included the extra testing comparison. Kind of fun doing more detailed comparisons, but definitely more work involved.

I have a few great mods for the uzi, just haven't finished them yet, I'm planning to finish them after my glock mods cuz getting uzis is kind of rare

Nice! Great video. Have you tested light stock at all? I think it would be interesting to compare light stock + ergonomic grip with tactical stock + tactical upgrade. The former has better DPS at 158 but the later has slightly better stability at 142 DPS. The magazine, sight and barrel are all clear winners but the stock and grip combo's are interesting.

@@Pressingx yes, ergonomic grip + tactical stock + long barrel makes the gun never miss. It's amazing how it does that So that's why tactical upgrade is a straight up downgrade in my opinion

I think that if uzis were common weapons like m16s or glocks from bunker alpha then I would mod it but I want to mod the guns that I actually have , btw I did 99 at pd yesterday and got 20 blue :)

Good point about its drop rate. I wonder if they'll make it a bit more common after they release its active skill mods. Also, congrats on the 99 waves. That's not an easy task!!

@@Pressingx those 81 nades took me a month to gather from the fourth floor but it was worth it I also used a mgl from the last season pass I didn’t learn the chopper skin but I kind of dont care I will do 99 waves more times in the future , if I’m gonna get a bad purple blueprint from the first 10 I will exchange the other 10

Uzi is having more stability than m16 because m16 is having only one 4 point about that, but uzi have more points of stability... Ak too

I would suggest ergonomic from a cost perspective, but the tactical if you want to squeeze every last bit of potential out of the gun.

bro its cost 44 fucking steel plates to get all the mods , not to mention it requires 60 factory parts and 24 gun oils. is it really worth to spend all that on a weapon i barely get to use?
