Same here. We have a whole new universe and people want to make it Star Wars or Star Trek or Mass Effect (felt the same with Witcher stuff in Skyrim). The closest I would get to installing a SW mod is maaaaybe the Grogu plushie since it would technically be an old Earth artifact.
@@angelooutlaw386 I've seen the updated video that is on PC for this mod, and if that comes to console soon, it will definitely be on a lot of players load orders.
That show star names is definitely going on my list, I hate trying to remember where particular systems are. With that star station, my main gripe with Starfield homes is that you can't have people live there, so they're basically fancy walk-through storage containers.
The hydration and fed times are real minutes, not in game minutes. 30 minutes real time is pertty fine imo. 4 hours would be multiple days in game time
Another informative post. I'm definitely not an outpost builder and barely find ship building desirable, but am more likely to try it. Just out of curiosity, is there a mod that improves the dancing NPCs on Neon because...DAMN. Bethesda could have (at least) found somebody on the staff with better moves. 😂
This kind of mods have become a necessity in recent games, since the game studios need to comply with DEI standards and are forced to uglify female characters, which makes the virtual world appear rather unnatural. Woman naturally want to look pretty, not masculine like all the female characters in Starfield. So the vanilla cities in Starfield look all quite weird with no feminine looking women in them. We have to correct this with mods.
I added mid save without issue but I haven't tested removing. If you have other outpost mods you may want to read the description to see if they mess with the radius. If they do you might get a conflict.
I had the Star names listed and for one it did feel cluttered, but the font was way smaller. I have great vision and a 55 inch tv and I was struggling to read them
Do you think people will make ship mods and or just NASA OR SPACEX mods be it spacesuits, ship parts or what have you? Or even that M16 N2 From For all mankind? It would be a great addition without taking from the theme of the game.
In time we will see a lot of different fandoms add different ships and ship parts to the game. I have seen some in creation just nothing really caught my eye yet.
@Starfield_Eclipse currently I am using those current ship part mods to try to make the IXS enterprise, the avontech rings help bring the look together.
I wanted to make a mod (but my PC is far below requirements) that adds new vendors in each city that only buy ONE type of contraband, they'd be voiced, and could point you in the direction of the other vendors. They would buy contraband for the FULL price rather than 20% of it. I think it would make smuggling a lot more fun, as currently, you can just go to the The Den or The Key to sell all your contraband without the need of shielded cargo or any skills... Kind of an oversight on Bethesdas part if you ask me.
An Aurora addict in New Atlantis down in the Well, a "Doctor" looking for Harvested organs on the ground level, a fairly rich man in Akila looking for Stolen Artwork, a Va'ruun member looking for Heretic writings in Neon. The list goes on and I think it would be such a cool idea. One trip from a POI might give you 1-3 different types of Contraband, and you can sell it all cheaply and freely, or risk 3 scans in different systems for MAXIMUM profit and your skills in Smuggling will be rewarded
What?!?! A mod list without star wars??? THANK GOD!! Every single space game Doesn't need Star wars. Sci Fi has a ton of Great stories that doesn't need to be regurgitated with the same tired story over and over. Finally a mod list that doesn't make me turn it off right away. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Especially since the Star wars aliens look all rather like cartoons, which is not very immersive. It destroys the realism of Starfield. Even the producers of the more adult-oriented Andor series understood that and reduced the number of aliens significantly compared to other Star Wars productions. I was happy that Starfield tried to follow the visuals of The Expanse and other more realistic Si Fi productions and not Star Wars or Star Trek.
well, about the realistic feed and Hydration Duration, we got to remember that time goes faster in the game, so 30 minutes equals roughly half a day. thinking like that it's already rather realistic.
Thanks so much. These all look good and the star map function I must have. Looked at his mod and it says that on PC you can now get the star names by holding down the ALT key. Not exactly a well known fact. I will try that first. Really helpful mod author. That star station looks like a great player home for some people. Fits the theme perfectly. The inaccessible areas might be just to keep the size manageable. I wonder if the crafting benches are tied to the station cargo hold? If you could assign crew here, this would be a great place for Sam and Cora.
I am going to check on the crew and connect crafting benches. I know that a lot of people aren't into outpost building would love this but the connected crafting tables will kinda make or break this one.
there is another complimentary mod that changes the star system name text into the colours corresponding to their level. so green are low level, yellow for higher and the high level systems are red.
