Mods To Make You Play Skyrim Again In 2022 

I cant finish a single playthough because i keep adding more mods

I would have never thought that the golden age of skyrim would come after 10 years of its release, but here we are.

So SIMPly put, Conquest of Skyrim turns you into the Band of the Hawk. And when you have enough commanders you can go full Whitebeard and storm Solitude/Windhelm like its Marineford.

While your overview of Conquest of Skyrim was quite hilarious, it seriously makes me kind of hope they can make it compatible with Beyond Skyrim and expand it so that you can rebuild the Tamrielic Empire across all of the included provinces! That would be simply amazing!

Smooth magic casting animations is a great casting animation mod. That I highly recommend if you want to look at another magic animations. If you haven’t already seen it of course love the video btw as always I catch at least of mod or two to add.

Your Dragonborn is peak maidenless material

I just discovered Building Bridges about a week ago. It is a beautiful, beautiful mod. The best part, is even though people can write literally whatever they want, many notes are still written in the same restrictions as the Soulsborne games, which gives it an extra layer of comical value. Most of the rest of the mods you showcased I have not heard of and cannot wait to check them out. Great quality video. Skyrim modding is in fact in the golden age, but Skyrim mods videos are also in the golden age. All you guys are bringing your A game for sure and there has been a huge bump in quality the last couple of years. Surely standing on the shoulders of Brodual!

There is a texture replacer for building bridges which turns them into shout words on the ground, for those who don't really like the note look. It also feels more fitting, since you're the dragonborn, a mythological being capable of being the world with your words

Loved the use of Outward music, I once bought the OST for outward on steam, converted them to files Skyrim would recognise and replaced all music in Skyrim with Outward equivalents (Cave music in caves, fight music in fight etc).

Conquest sounds just like the mod I want!!! Would love to build an army of my own in Skyrim and raid. Shame it's unstable at the mo, but understandable with how much it would change the game

I saw someone use Destructible Skyrim in combination with a weather mod (Wonders of Weather, maybe) and it gave the rain enough "mass" that it would randomly shatter barrels that were outdoors.

The best part about the new animations is that the way they've been implemented is so much better then how it used to be. Back in the day you had to run FNIS every time you added/removed animations and it unless you were running a mod organizer with a virtual file system there was always the risk it would break animation to the point you had to re-install your entire game. There was a good reason animations were barely touched back then. Now they're implemented via a on-the-fly SKSE extension that allows you to add remove animation to your hearts content with little to no risk of bricking anything. It takes the entire process of adding and testing new animations and makes it as easy as installing texture mods.

Hey! Just stumbled upon your video, I recently built a pic and decided to give Skyrim a go the right way, I’ve spent days configuring mods and testing what I like before I even play. What body type and armor is that? I really like what your using. I’ve followed many requirements for some face mods and such but the race menu and poly heads seems a bit much beyond I can understand so far haha. I like to keep it somewhat simple but also maximize everything I can. Have any mod list I can look at? Particularly ones in this video? Thanks for the help

Thanks very much for your mod list! I am wondering though if you know any mods that overhaul the dungeons and placement of enemies, so that the overall world spaces feel more challenging(in an interesting way), like dark souls/elden ring? The reason I am asking is that I have been playing Skyrim for thousands of hours. The game content itself feels old to me despite the wonderful new combat frameworks. I don't need new quest mods, just something that changes the already existing cells and distribution of enemies inside.

The Conquest of Skyrim looks pretty interesting. The base game they try to make the Civil War factions Morally Gray in an attempt to make the player pick a side and still feel like they are playing the good guy, but they did it too well and now it's hard to pick a side. Conquest seems to give players another option. Am curious to see more details and future plans. Like can you assign modded NPCs to positions of power, like I would really like to make Inigo the Jarl of the Rift with the Dova-Bear as his Housecarl. Also would be cool if they expand diplomacy, like if you meet some requirements like High Speech or already talking a good number of holds, you can convince Jarls to Step Down or Join Your Side without actually fighting them, maybe have it linked to other quest, like if the player worked with the Thieves Guild, they could collect dirt on Maven so they can Blackmail her, or if you found evidence that Balgruuf used the Ebony Blade to murder his Wife and Mistress you can Blackmail him too.

Hey Mern. I really like watching your mod list videos. I have a problem that I can't seem to fix and is super inconstant and that is that some light sources produce dynamic shadows and some do not. I'm using the ruby enb with cathedral weathers and I have EVLaS installed, but most light sources inside do not produce shadows. I even tried throwing in dynamic shadows for skyrim but I still don't get dynamic shadows inside. Any help would be appreciated. Also I know this isn't the right place to ask about this, but I got no help on the skyrim modding subreddit so here I am.

As a reminder, always read the bugs and posts tab before trying out a mod. Also, mods that tweak the vanilla quest lines can be prone to instability.

I downloaded QUI because of the stay at system page fix. Used it for a while before I realize the add item feature. But this is one I won’t go without.

There doesn't seem to be news of SCAR so far, I am looking to have that before I restart my playthrough of Skyrim with MCO/ADXP. Until then, any input on possible substitutes so that npc ai can use MCO's combo system?
