She is a lot more precise as well - or perhaps it’s because they are playing to a click track. I watched another live version of this song and it sounded nowhere near this toght

I've wondered this ever since I heard it, and was confused by why the keyboardist's fingers didn't match the notes, so I guess arpeggiation explains it. Let me know if you ever get it.

This is live, always cool to bring a live performance authentic to the listeners. Counting in is live feeling, still in digital times.

This is one of the songs that really benefits from the live treatment.

The studio version is one of my faves off Rave Tapes but the live version is just ten levels above.

They're good in different ways. The studio version has more of a sense of dread, where the live one just rocks.
