In this video I break down West Ham’s marguee summer signing, Mohammed Kudus, the Ghana International has been one of the signings of the summer for the Hammers.
The right-winger is a versatile, dynamic player, who can also play as a false nine or an attacking midfielder.
In this video I look at the three key aspects of his game, the dribbling, the defense and the goalscoring. Showing you clips and specific examples of Kudus this season.
I compare him with a former Premier League African superstar, Sadio Mane.
In your opinion who does Mohamed Kudus remind you most of? And how good can he be?

I cant believe Moyes has players like Kudus, Bowen, Paqueta with Alvarez and JWP behind and opts to play a low block/counter attacking system. These players are so much more than that.

The reason Kudus is so good defensively as a "winger" is because he was originally meant to be a box-to-box mid. A lot of people forget that he only started recently playing on the wing last season.

It’s a good point and it’s why he can switch positions with Bowen and Paqueta when West Ham are attacking.

Eii Brotaku. That ooo. Yeah at Nordjæland he was playing in CDM and at Ajax too he played a Ryan Gravenberch role.just last season Alfred Schreuder and Johnny Heitinga started playing him as CDM

Thanks for this! I was looking at his football reference page, he’s scored 6 in the Premier League, 3 Europa League for West Ham, so I’m assuming there’s a league cup goal I’ve missed!

Man, some of ya'll need to chill lol He is saying Kudus has similarities to Mane's style of play. Why so angry?
@UnthinkableFairytales
@UnthinkableFairytales 8 месяцев назад
Because this is the bs they do all the time keeping players in other's shadows and adding unnecessary pressure for them to play like someone else. Imagine you yourself walking around all day being referred to as the lookalike of someone instead of being called your own name.
@brotaku8619
@brotaku8619 8 месяцев назад
@@UnthinkableFairytales That's different though. He's not calling Kudus as Sadio Mane. He's not even saying they look alike. He only said their play styles are similar. Of course Kudus is his own person, we know this.

Kudus is a typical Ghanaian player with flair and skill like Abedi Pele, there is no similarity between him and Mane what so ever, what Kudus can do with a ball Mane can only dream of doing, Just because he is playing as an attacking winger does not make him similar to Mane. He is actually better in this game play done Mane
@SCJSAnalysis
@SCJSAnalysis 8 месяцев назад
Mane had more skill and flare than he’s gets credit for, however I did not compare the on-ball similarities in the video, for me it’s the off-ball work that reminds me of Mane and is precisely why I can see Kudus flourishing at for example a club like Liverpool. His pressing, athleticism and running. Plus the ability to score and assist similar numbers to Mane. He will of course write his own history but clearly not everyone agrees and that’s football! A game of opinions!

Good vid. Kudus looks class in his short time at west ham. He really plays that inverted forward role well. I do think his defensive numbers may be inflated due to west hams extremely low possession. Regardless he is deadly on and off the ball. Could see him going all the way to the top!
@SCJSAnalysis
@SCJSAnalysis 8 месяцев назад
Thanks! Yeah that’s a good point about his defensive numbers. I agree though it’s hard for me not to see him playing at a super club in the next few years, but he’s going to cost allot!

Comparisons are useful, revealing as much in dissimilarities as similarities, and this one I found helpful and enjoyable. Cheers.

The modern Sadio Mane?🙄. Is Mane dead?. Kudus is different and so is Mane ,both players are still strong and playing. He's aiming higher than Mane. Mane himself doesn't see himself to be the greatest yet.Too early for this pls.

Even a child knows they both have their uniqueness. Why insult Kudus with that caption and comparison? Just an attempt to lose your subscribers? I'm out
@SCJSAnalysis
@SCJSAnalysis 8 месяцев назад
It’s not an insult I think Kudus is a great player and very versatile. Mane at Liverpool was world class winger so it’s very much a compliment, it’s natural to compare players and he reminded me of Mane in terms of his work rate and defensive skills and athleticism. Of course he’s unique and different in other aspects of his game and may go on to surpass Mane, he’s only 23 so I’m excited to see where he goes from here!
