After you rigged and did the smart bones for one arm, I'm assuming you can do some type of copy and flip so you don't have to go through the same steps for the other arm. Am I correct?
I am trying the whole 360 rotation process in Autodesk Maya which is a 3D Animation software But it took me 4 years to realize that there are many software like adobe animate, toon boom harmony, moho etc are out there to serve the same purpose which i used in my project with my custom made scripts. Although I will use Autodesk Maya for simple 2d animation but I will never go with 360 rig animation in Maya, rather than Moho.
I made actions for turning the head both ways on one of my characters, but when I try to use the dial like at 8:18 it just moves the bone instead of turning it back and forth. What am I doing wrong?
I had the same issue, i think this tutorial might only work with version 13.0. But no worries, to create a smartbone dial you just have to select your smartbone, go to the menu tab for bones and press "Smartbone Dial". Then you get 2 actions, one you can use for the left turn and the other for the right turn.
Nice video, do you know how to fix the playback lag in the viewer window in MOHO 12 on mac? I tried to change display quality to full, but I still have the bad quality render inside moho, also I tried to change the moho sittings to "Open in Low Resolution" from sittings, but didn't work :\
I have moho 13 and the animating is hesitating. When I scrub through the timeline there is a hesitation and its making animating take too much time. I have a good graphics card, cpu etc. It even happened in Moho 12. What could be the cause?
Have you tried unchecking the GPU acceleration in Moho? Plus, I know that if the Styles panel is expanded with the 'advanced' box checked, it can cause some latency in Moho. (Don't know why.)
I follow exactly the tutorial but the program doesn't work right. I think the programmers of this program are complete idiots. Blender and Toon Boom animators seem to have better brains at programming. I bought this software and it doesn't work that well.

My bone dials do not stay attached. I managed to get eyes left and right (which was a bit of a struggle.) Then when I created an up/Down actions the left right disconnected and the up-down never connected. If I go into the individual actions. They work. I have 4 actions 2 for L/R. and 2 for R/D

I watch this video for about 2 hours. I wonder why my timeline didn't show the writing with yellow highlight as yours so I can animate for editing all points. I klik Transformer as you said than klik....but never work

This looks really amazing ! Totally gets me hyped to start using Moho :D I have a question though, is Moho suitable for game engine animation ? like generating sprite sheet, or smart files that could be used and easily edited in Unity for example ? Thanks :)
Well, I just downloaded Moho 13.5 in the trial period, and have followed everything he has shown, but when I use the transform tool to move the arm on frame 48, only the bone moves. The arm is left behind.
As far as i can tell the automatic dial creation is a feature they removed in 13.5... To create a Smart bone dial that lets you do different actions when you either turn it left or right can be created by selecting your smartbone, going to the bone menu tab and pressing "Smartbone Dial". Then the program will create two actions and you can use one for the left turn and one for the right turn.
