Mzee, Daniel arap Moi. South Sudanese who lived under your leadership will remember you for one beautiful thing...the spirit of of peace, love and unity. Kwa nini? Kwa sababu "maisha si karata...pata potea pata potea" and you once said that phrase, Mzee. I'm crying in spirit but dancing in my heart for you have lived a full life. Love you and may your spirit continue....for a beautiful, loving and prosperous Kenya.
Even if He is gone, I still know Him as a unifying factor to this nation. When campeigns were over, He could put put all politics into a room His mind and locks it there and turns back to Kenya's developments.
When you retired we missed Maziwa ya NYAYO and now you've gone we will miss you and the peace you preached in all your speeches .. Thanks prz Moi may God rest your soul in eternal peace!!!!!!
R.I.P mzee moi.u were the best president.nani kama ww?wakati ulikuwa mamlakani, uliangazia sana pande ya wakenya kuwa na amani na kweli hakujawai kuwa na vita.asante mzee moi.tutakukumbuka forever
RIP mzee Moi. I always remember maziwa ya nyayo and indeed the song "Moi ameimiza tupande miti mingi, ili tuzuie mmomonyoko wa udongo". God be with you till we meet again.
Condolences to the family. Mzee Moi was a father figure to many due to his strong character, sense of style na his regular msomo to the nation. Rest in peace Guka.
Woah! I have lived to know the Moi we 'heard' in the 90s and the Moi we saw for ourselves. He definitely was no pushover, we probably never quite got to know him. all things held constant, he held the nation together. For that, I celebrate his life plus maziwa ya Nyayo. RIP
2:14 😭😭😭 very true see the future after him,REST IN POWER,mimi kama mtoto wa NYAYO najivunia uongozi wako, japo singeweza kuelewa hotuba wakati huo, nashukuru Kwa Amani na umoja niliyopata wakati wa uongozi wako nikiwa mdogo,Safiri salama
The late president was truelly an African icon, great leader and he was highly respected in the world just as his predecessor. So rest in peace mzee moi
RIP Mzee Moi, you ruled us well. You steadily hammered the Nyayo Philosophy, of Peace and Love and Unity. I will sing it now and sing it again, "Nyayo Philosophy". I cherish the Nyayo Philosophy.

He was indeed a true legend his legacy will be remembered generation after generation and he also acted as a symbol of peace , love and unity in the republic of kenya 💔💔💔
Thanks citizen Tv rest in peace former president of kenya moi I will always remember your work....na maziwa ya nyayo back then .....am watching the news in Dubai live it a shocking news
@@haronmaake5216 Your low self esteem is showing if you think you're better because you're in the US or Canada over someone who's in the gulf. Everyone's diaspora experience is valid no matter where they are. So take your shenzi type thinking elsewhere.
I couldn't agree with you more. Moi was a great president. No hypocrisy whatsoever if he didn't like something, he put it out there in black n white. Hopefully these upcoming politicians can take a page out of Moi's book. Baba wa taifa lala salama. You will be missed.
He was right indeed. BBI is for leaders with selfish gains and the succession politics for 2022. RIP Our beloved President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi.
Ile siku ulikuwa ukipita kutoka Meru then girls wa Kangeta Girls' danced for you...ukawaachia 20k...that money was used to buy us sleeveless sweaters..R.I.P. Can't forget maziwa ya Nyayo pia...motivated me to work extra hard ili on closing day nipate 6 packets of that milk. Makiwa kwa familia.
Kenyans have very short or selective memories. This man presided over misrule and plunder, torture, assassinations, poverty and entrenched corruption. RIP mzee
What I liked about President Moi is when he would intervene in unfair situations for kids. There was a time the heads of schools were trying to lord over the kids and parents saying there should be no visiting day in boarding schools and he immediately shut that down. I'll always remember that. Also when tragedies happened in schools he made an effort and would be there the same day condoling with the students and parents. Such things stood out to me about him. May he RIP.
@Chuuma Moi is the cause of all this division we are facing today that's the tactic he used to rule "divided & rule" if Moi could have continued to rule up to now when he met his death, we could not be talking of Kenya as nation but another Congo or south sudan or if not another north Korea in Africa. his dictatorship rule contaminated every institution from public offices to private office including schools, churches & even family everyone leading on those places wanted to dictate even fathers in families. that's how bad it was. Kenya needs a reformist
@Chuuma That's a rhetorical question question! Make a point of revisiting u're history classes. if you recall the clashes in molo & other parts of the country when he was in power he was pulling the strings behind the curtains.
That is after the attempted coup of 1982,from there he never trusted anyone and he became authoritarian and brutal, but he was forced to do that because that reason.
