Can you tell the difference between moissanite and diamond? See an example of our "Anani" ring shown with a moissanite in one version and a diamond in another. Our Anani features a unique wave-like band that elegantly contours the finger with a hand-engraved texture that mimics the life on the bark of a beautiful, Sequoia tree - inspired by a trip to the magnificent Sequoia National Park in California. She is then kissed with four pretty white diamonds on the band. Pairs beautifully with the Autumn, Willow and the Selene wedding band.

Diamond at the bottom. Sharper single facets, deeper reflections of unlit areas in the room, and sometimes the smaller table percentage is a give away.

The bottom is the moissanite. Moissanite is clearer and has more fire then diamonds. But if you dont like a lot of fire and want your moissanite to look my diamond like you can get moissanite in what they call crushed glass look that brings the fire down a little bit and its not as clear making it look more diamond like. For me I like the clear and firey moissanite more then diamonds. Moissanite is just as hard as diamonds. They even test the same on a diamond tester. So moissanite will last just as long as a diamond.

You are wrong all moissanite are slightly hazy almost glass looking and their fire and brilliance temds to look washed out and they develop a pesky grime overtime while diamonds are typically transparent and the facets looks sharp and tje sparkles and scintillation looks crisp and very easy to clean.

@@sarahrodriguez7101 that is mainly due to the double refraction moissanite provides that diamond does not also moissanite is a bit more brighter thus looking more white 🤍 moissanite is marketed as a synthetic stone which is quite crazy to me

Yes the top has a film when it gets lights on the flat top almost like it’s plastic but the diamond is always shining

Am I crazy to think the moissanite looks more “real” and that they both have the same “fire” and sparkle? Unless this video is hiding the true difference in sparkle, I think the sparkle of the moissanite is quite exaggerated, as in people make wayyyy to much of a big deal about it sparkling “to much”. The sparkle looks exactly the same. The moissanite, in my opinion, has more and more compact and slightly random looking facets, and the diamond looks more CZ like

You're not crazy- they are both "real" gemstones in their own right, which is why it really comes down to personal preference! The difference in sparkle will be more noticeable depending on the particular stone and the lighting conditions, so it's always a good idea to see them in person when possible. But that said, we love both options and consider both to be a high-quality gemstone :)

The bottom is moissanite. Moissanite is clearer and has more fire then diamonds that how you can tell when they are side by side the diamond wont be as clearer and the fire wont be as bright. Want to clarify that Im not a professional but I know a little about moissanite. What I said is true about the clarity and fire of moissanite it is clearer and has more fire then diamonds. It's just hard to see in a video but from what I can see the bottom looks like the moissanite... Also the very middle of both stones one has slightly bigger pinpoint the moissanite normally has the bigger pinpoints then the same size diamond. Diamonds have a very tiny pinpoint it goes into a tiny point for best reflection it a diamonds so it will have a slightly better cut...

The top one is the moissanite and the diamond is the bottom. Moissanites reflect more of a rainbow color than diamonds do

The bottom one is the moissanite it much clearer and has more fire then the diamond on top.. Let me clarify, Im not a professional jeweler but I do know a little about moissanite. The moissanite a very clear stone its clearer then diamonds. Moissanite has more fire and sparkle then diamonds. This is a video so it makes it harder to tell but from what I can see I believe the bottom is the moissanite....
