My favorite was when Michelle went to the multiverse and meets Rue and then just starts doing cocaine in front of Dr. Strange, truly an enigmatic experience to behold

It felt like a lot of the fights in general didn't make a whole lot of sense. Mostly the ones including the scarlet witch. They build her up as being able to bend reality to her will, which she does, but only sometimes. For example when she's fighting the other avengers and just oneshots 2 of their most powerful characters off the bat with no issues by altering reality, then proceeds to have a long normal fight with the one regular human. Just lots of weird inconsistencies like that where she could've and should've done things faster to make her more powerful and a more meaningful threat. It felt like they forgot what their characters were capable of and weren't sure how to utilize them or make a proper fight out of it all.

In the movie it could be explained that the reality warping was the Darkhold part controlling her and the nerfed fights were Wanda holding back a measure

Spoiler Warning ⚠️ Not sure what Charlie’s complaining about… I didn’t see any plot holes in the movie and the way the villain lost wasn’t underwhelming at all. Using Wandas resolve against her was the only way she was gonna lose. Wouldve been pretty lame and unrealistic if America Chavez all of sudden got strong enough to beat her alone. I loved it, best marvel movie I’ve seen. Sam Raimi is the goat he was the perfect director for this film. Finding out Scarlet Witch was the villain behind everything was a total mindfuck, the trailer made it seem like she was going to collab and help Strange beat the villain but boy was I wrong lol.

Way too much happened in such a short amount of time. To the point where this movie could better be called a sequel to wandavision instead of a dr strange movie.

Probably one of the best criticisms of this movie out there. It was pretty enjoyable, just feels like they really don't explore the multiverse enough. I'd say even No Way Home explored that concept better.

I wasn't sure how to put why I disagreed with Charlie's take there but this is totally on point. They could have made the battle leading up to it more climactic but it's a really good character moment and I think a satisfying resolution to Wanda's internal conflict.

It was mainly the non strange magic that annoyed me the most. Wanda just using brute force fire balls makes sense sorta but the fact that wong and all the sorcerers don’t use cool magic was kinda a let down cause strange shouldn’t be the only one who knows all this other stuff. Like wongs sorcerer supreme but just uses chains and energy blasts

I think Doctor strange's are pretty cool but the enemies magic is just strong and whatever, it does whatever and we have no idea really but atleast there is something for Dr strange

It was nice to see them but at the same time it felt like they were just there to be expendable for the story. Wish they had more screentime or at least be able to put up an even better and longer fight.

i liked most of the editing but some of the transitions were hilarious, like when wong's head just suddenly covered half the screen or the movie maker zoom in on one head, zoom out from another i didn't know sam raimi directed this movie until the credits and was SO confused but all of it made sense at once i'm really surprised how much they let him reference old horror movies down to that cheesy editing, costuming and music
