This red velvet pound cake is super moist and delicious! It's has a beautiful cream cheese swirl that will tantalize the taste buds!!
Ingredients
3 cups cake flour (375g)
3 cups sugar
8 oz cream cheese
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup cocoa powder
red gel paste
glaze:
cream cheese
powdered sugar
milk
vanilla extract

Beautiful red velvet cake! I would love to have a sample 🍽🍰 I just love the swirl in the middle, very pretty. But since you are taking suggestions, I would love to see you make a Mexican style dish along with queso, sorta like the bowls you would have at Moe’s. I also enjoy chalupas from Taco Bell, but have not been able to come up with the perfect chalupa shell! I really enjoy your videos, keep ‘em coming gurl! Thanks 😊

Love love your ingredients. Watkins has a red velvet extract that is 💯👍🏽 , I red velvet cinnamon rolls and that red velvet extract is key. I was getting it from Walmart stores but now I just order from amazon. I love Watkins extracts and flavors. I will give your recipe a try! 🤗💕

Oh thank you so much! haha thanks girl I'm trying to et used to being on camera. I like the Watkins gourmet vanilla, but I feel I tasted the difference the most in the frosting. i added just a drop so it wouldnt turn brown and it pumped up the flavor to me.

check out my mustard fried chicken recipe! its chicken fried w/out butter milk! also, have you ever though of using vegan butter to replace butter in recipes? i think it could work in candied yams for instance. but maybe just use a little less since it doesnt brown the same way butter does. i would start off with 1/2 as much. also, he can have the rice and pigeon peas in my sould food turkey leg video.

lol what you wanna use instead? personally i dont like using just milk in pound cakes, they dont come out as moist. the other option I would give is sour cream, plain full fat greek yogurt, or evaporated milk . if you dont have buttermilk then i think you need vinegar. if you have buttermilk, you can manage without the vinegar. or maybe add 1/4 tsp extra baking powder, that could probably work too
