I keep finding myself on these videos. I'm taking an interest in curly hair. I hope the Lord bless me with a gorgeous brown woman with long hair like you. Lord have mercy!! 😍
Looking at your braids I was thinking how good it looked and that if I were you, I'd wear it as a style. And then you started talking about just that😂. Yes definitely, it looks cute, even like this but next time you could definitely do sharper sections if that makes you feel more comfortable . It's definitely a wearable style, the whole reason why I'm trying to grow my hair long is so I can just do braids and they look good, just like this. There's nothing wrong with kinky edges, I think it would be good if more people with our hair texture just left our edges alone ( or just did a bit of water, oil and tie them down to contain them). My hair isn't full enough short for it to look nice. Beautiful head of hair, I can tell you put a lot of love and time into it!
Wow! Obaa Yaa to be frank with you , I am still learning from you. Your method of handling your hair is so so amazing and also the way you teaches theory and practical n your vedios is 💯super 👌😁 Thanks for sharing this great video and may the good Lord continue to bless you 🙏🙏🙏
Your so beautiful and that hair. Your hair is so healthy and beautiful. Loved it when you just had it combed out aswell. I have length but if I had that much volume, I would be on cloud nine. I would just wear ot out. So amazing. Your lucky for all that density. 💗
Can you try an experiment? For a wash day, how about trying the deep conditioner/ leave-in after you shampoo, so that you can cover it and give it indirect heat- and then not have to wash it out as it's a leave in! Just style your hair with it in after it deep conditions with heat/ being bagged up. It will save you time, and you can see if your hair still feels moisturized for long. ❤❤❤
You can definitely wear your hair out like that. When your hair is healthy you can get away with being more minimal, sometimes that laying and slaying is needed to hide the damage.
you had me at the first two twist that fell down into your face lol wowzer you have a lot of hair the folks in this world was sooooooo wrong when they said black women can't grow long hair. Thank you for proving yet again that we can grow long hair too. I am so loving your hair.💞💞💞💞
I think these 6 braid worn down look very good on you, as well as the bun with your loose hair. I think these two hairstyles on you look better than the twists.
Beautiful hair! I love seeing you do your hair. I love how thick your hair is. I had quite a bit of breakage over the past 2 years, so my hair got a little thinner towards the ends, but its still thick, I want to get back to your thickness though. I will be changing quite a bit of stuff in my routine. And yes you can wear your hair out like that. Even if you just want to add a headband. that would make it super cute! Thanks for sharing.
Sorry about your setback. Once you correct the mistake that led to the breakage in the first place, then your hair should recover. Wish you all the best 🤎✨️
Just found your channel!!! Hello from California. Your countenance is beautiful! May God continue to bless you and yours. Girl!!!! You are a WHOLE INSPIRATION ✨ I’ve been natural forever but was never intentional until now so I’m here for all the tips.
Beautiful.....I like the idea of using a leave in and a three in one then an oil. Sometimes when I am applying a deep conditioner, it's so rich and thick that I want to use it to seal my hair with an oil. I have thick high porosity hair and moisture is my struggle. By day 2 it's dry so I need to ramp up my sealing strategy. I will be 5 years post BC in Aug.... hoping to get to my goal of 20". How long is your hair in inches? It's gorgeous Queen
You got so much hair its a job growing long hair after my shoulder surgery child please good my hair is soft water hit my scalp fast because that's how I detangle
OH! WOW!!! OH! MY! YOU AND YOUR HAIR ARE SO PRETTY, LOVELY AND BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE TO SEE MY SISTAZ' DOING THEIR REAL, NATURAL AFRICAN HAIR! THERE ARE R U L E S, YOU KNOW! YES!!!
Thank you very much 🤎✨️. I will be using both. Still haven't gotten a new bottle of the aunt jackies, though. Once I do, I will combine them both and see how that works as well.
Your hair is goals. I really wish to know what's in your diet because I know what we put in our bodies accounts a lot for our hair, skin and everything in between
I have been using the dark n lovely product. It smells amazing....but it doesn't last on the hair. I just noticed that I am half way through the tub. A little goes a long way thou.
I learnt about protein overload from one of your videos and I was wondering if I use products with protein every week would I get protein overload? I noticed most hair products contain protein
Sis I are wearing ur crown! I made a new RU-vid and was looking for ur tube!! I started natural back in 09 and didn’t know much about my hair! I am 4c and started taking my hair more serious about 4 1/2?years ago! My hair is roughly bra strap length! Did u ever feel discouraged during ur journey? And also my hair was once thick like yours and maybe I’m discouraged because I’ve had recent. Hair loss due to post partim! Is there Anything u have done to retain the volume? Thank u for sharing ur journey!!
This is how my hair used to be thick and healthy and all of a sudden it's brittle, straight...lost it's curls ... I don't know what's going on. I did blood work and I was like a little below the norm for iron. Been taking the pills every other day. My hair is still brittle and thin. Now trying fenugreek pills... I miss my thick hair...
@Obaa Yaa Jones, have u ever tried Ayurvedic products? When u use different products, do detox ur hair 1st b4 switching & or in between ur cleansing routines?
@Obaa Yaa Jones oh ok, u have beautiful full hair - the best results usually come from ayurvedic treatments & or products when I usually see videos on here. I have been using Ayurvedic products for 4 months now & other than less expensive. I Love that it's all natural ingredients & have shown a success to my hair since I've switched from store products. Blessings, ur hair is really amazing, I could only imagine the work of comb out, etc.... 🫣💖💖💖💖
Thanks for subbing! 🤎✨️ You can try Jamaican black castor oil. Mix it with a lighter oil like almond, jojoba, or olive oil and apply it to your scalp regularly. It might work for you.
What has kept you encouraged throughout your hair journey? Us naturalistas know the hair journey is quite serious, esp when you have category 4 hair.. I'm tired and thinking of going back to relaxer, I love the look of being natural just not the process, it can be a lot.
Don’t quit. I know it can be hard but developing the patience and skills to care for your hair is so liberating. My mom used to tell me that I can’t comb hair to save my life. When I see how far I’ve come and the length I’ve retained: I just want to say , ‘Mommy, look at me now.’ I don’t think I have perfected the process but I’m getting there and you can too. They couldn’t pay me enough to go back to the creamy crack. Be encouraged.
My hair is not nearly so long and wash day would wear me out. Now I prepoo and go to the beauty shop for wash and deep conditioning (under the dryer). Then I detangle and put bbn in chunky twists and later I break down the twist while still damp. I can handle it this way so much better.
@L C Scott Thanks, I need to figure out a routine and stay true to that. I'm just not a "Hair person" growing up I would relax abt twice-3x max a year. My go to was thee infamous wrap for yrssss, super easy w/ little to no maintenance and my hair thrived and grew... fast fwd to present day, I'm abt bra strap length and it stays in a bun, if it's not in a protective style smh 😤
@@angelitacochran8161 Bra strap length. Wow! You are doing well- all things considered. Stay the course and keep doing what your doing then. I’ll pray that God gives you doses of patience and endurance for this natural hair journey 😊.
@Angelita Cochran The infamous "wash day" can definitely be a task, pre-pooing does help. I also wash my hair sectioned 6 plaits to help lessen detangling time. Whatever helps the process be less tedious. I'm with you going to beauty shop, that sounds way better, loll
