A lot of these products have proteins in them and when you use it the first time it feels alright because your hair may need the protein but using it on a regular basis causes your hair to feel like straw and or crunchy. Also they have certain alcohols mixed in there so you end up with dry hair within a day or two
I use the Aunt Jackies clarifying shampoo too because I go long periods between my wash days. I also use TGIN Tripple moisture shampoo which is very moisturizing.
I literally clapped along with you…. I hear you yep when a certain great oil just works it’s a God send! Castor oil and Shea butter is my bestie. Yep yep! Thank you 😀
I can’t stand CANTÙ their products are absolutely horrible! If you have type 4 anything or even 3C or 3B, avoid that brand! I have sections of 3c and it doesn’t moisturize that portion of hair either; it’s just a drying product line.
Before I started watching your videos, I always mixed lots of oils, but now I only use olive oil because of you and it works really good, my hair just loves it……
Girl you looking amazing you proper have lost weight can see it totally in your face wow. Can’t wait for this video on the progress and I’m just wow 💕 keep going
Thanks for all of the info, I’m taking notes for my daughters hair (I have sisterlocks so I’m all good). But figuring how to grow my daughters hair has been tricky so I’m definitely taking notes from all your videos 😊 As far as the Shea butter, where do you get yours from?
I have tried so hard for especially the past 3-4years and much things to help my hair grow or retain the length and it's not working. I am so tired and information overload and so drained because I'm not seeing the results. I've been natural all my life so I don't know why I'm not seeing the results. Sad face!!
Yes I do. It's in the nature of our kinks to form knots. If the hair is stretched and properly moisturized, then the amount of knotting shouldn't be something that would cause major problems.
Have you never tried clay washes? I want to give that a try because I use to do that once in a while and I remember my hair feeling bouncy. but yeah I live in an apartment as well everything is painted white so I am waiting till spring starts then I can do it on my balcony.
You just reminded my that I once tried Rhassoul clay. I liked how my hair felt but washing it out was a nightmare as well as the mess, so I left that alone. (That was years ago...)😅
@@ObaaYaaJones thanks. For your daughter, the video where you put her hair in three and then twist the ends. Do you leave it like that for a month? If so, how do you keep it moisturized during that period?
