Muddy mole’s neutral special is to produce an iron ball and throw it a short distance ahead or behind depending on additional input (forward has him pull it from behind him on the left and launch it with a kick, backwards has him produce it from the right and supllex it backwards. the move will default to forwards) the ball can pass through multiple enemies but only travels a short distance. afterwards it can be picked up as a heavy item or re-thrown be pressing b while standing next to it again. muddy can also throw heavy items such as barrels in this manner, though it doens’t add any properties to the normal heavy throw. Muddy’s up special is a spinning jump with claws outstretched based on the leap his children make when freed. it has low horizontal movement but decent vertical muddy’s down special has him duck underground and leap out a moment later with an upwards slash. muddy may move left or right while underground but will give very little indication where he is. forwards smash, muddy and one of his children perform a forwards slashing attack, with the child leaping out to gain range. Muddy’s attack is stronger, and will generally push the opponent into his child’s attack, which has better range and knockback and a slight delay but reduced damage. the child counts as a projectile and may be blocked, relfected, pocketed etc. downwards smash, points at the ground, inviting two of his children to bury themselves (the charge animation has him pointing and dirt being displaced while held) then leap out and perform spinning slashes. upwards smash, a short hop spin attack based on his children’s and his own spinning jump animation. dash attack, leaps forwards with claws spinning like his underground movement animation final smash, gather his family to heave a giant ball and throws it at the side of the screen. the ball loops around several times at varying height, damaging and launching any enemy in its path. muddy and his children hold hands and strike a pose. entrance, leaps from a burrow posing like a monty mole taunt 1, does his level clear victory dance taunt 2, flips and hits his head, like the failed dig animation from mole mania taunt 3, eats some cabbage that's all i've got idle, checks his glasses

This is on the Super Gameboy from the SNES. Unfortunately the 3DS Virtual Console Games doesn't have Colour.
