These videos are so helpful! I just picked up one of these recently and couldn’t find instructions on how to assemble it. The only videos I could find were for the updated ACU/OCP versions which, while very similar, are different enough that the instructions wouldn’t work for the older BDU type. Thanks to you I now have a fully assembled ruck all ready to go.

i have the same pack and the smaller pack its been hanging in my basement for several years .well i took the sholder straps off the big one and put them on my tree stand. then sold my tree stand with my sholder straps .got to get some new straps.the one thing about the pack is the kidney straps are kind of short for us big fellers. if i had a heavy coat on they will not snap.iam about a 42 waist so check it out. may need some mods great video now i have to go see if mine is put together rite lol.

Excellent idea for your tree stand. I too hunt from a portable ant the harness can be uncomfortable sometimes. Yes time for new straps. LOL. As far as the kidney belt, ya I agree. I had to modify a 7 inch splicer for mine to fit properly. Thanks for dropping by and leaving your comment.

LOL I know I can get a little long winded. OCD kicking in. I just wanted to show it all. Lots of other videos don't show as much or get in the way of the shot. Again I thank you for dropping bu and giving these a watch.

Thanks for dropping by my friend. I do like my Military Surplus Gear. What's good about this setup is that you can easily remove what not needed at any time before heading out.

I’ve made mine into a 55-65 pound INCH bag. I have the desert camo version. I don’t run the sustainment pouches because I want to run the pack sleek so I don’t get snagged on branches and whatnot. Instead of the waist pack mounted on the webbing below the claymore pouch I have a wadded up 75 foot hank of climbing rope.

I officially ordered everything for this complete set with shipping total everything for about a little over 300 dollars. Love my milatery surplus gear. You can use this in so many configurations. Just having a decent 3 day assault ruck will run you about 75/150 or so.
