ONE guitar player with a wig from 1992. A 78 year old on bass guitar and why John Galvin chooses to be a part of this is mind blowing
Bobby Ingrim bought the rights to the name yrs ago from Dave Hlubek who needed the $ because he blew all his $. This is an absolute joke, one guitar? Why not find some good players & pay tribute to to the original members? Oh, because Galvin wants all the money. One guitar? Give me a break! Nice comment dude, I agree 100%. I was lucky enough to see the original lineup many times in Pa & NJ
@@jimmansi1187. Yes the original band was awesome n I was also very fortunate to see the original dudes so I thought this show would have made a decent tribute but I understand how u feel. I just post the videos as I attend the shows.

From the info I got; the only original member of Molly Hatchet is the guitarist n I think the keyboardist. It was not what I expected. Vocals were not as clear n hard to hear but overall it was rockin’

Bobby Ingram, guitarist, first appeared on their seventh album “Lighting Strikes Twice.” John Galvin, keys and piano, first appeared on the sixth album “The Deed is Done” as a permanent member, but was credited with playing on the preceding “No Guts, No Glory.” Between 1995 and 2011, this version of the band (absent this new young lad on vocals, absolutely ripped. But from what i’m hearing, young Parker Lee is not the best fit for the band’s classic material. Thanks for posting this snippet of the show! It will help me determine if I want to check them out again.
Thanks for the History of Molly Hatchet. I do agree that the vocalist is not the best fit for MH classic southern rock. I also heard all original musicians were no longer alive n rockin’. Thank u for the clarification 😊
This is a sad story of decline... I love Molly Hatchet ❤, but the original one. All the old guys are not in this world with us anymore 😢 And yes, The Cold Train rocks now better!
Not even a tribute band they play the music as written and show respect to originals. One guitar in M.H. Who is he Dave,Duane or Steve?? Keyboards?? Who was the keyboard player in originals.wonder if Bobby’s getting any guitar endorsements??
