This video was recorded at Gamla Ullevi in Sweden, Gothenburg.
While the loudest whistle doesn't necessarily mean the best, it's an important factor depending on the intended use. Practicality and sound consistency are also important to consider. In this video, the dB values were measured while I blew the whistles with full force to ensure fairness and I created a race chart to show how they compare in sound level.
I chose to measure the decibel levels with C-weighting. C-weighting is particularly useful for measuring short bursts of sounds, such as whistle sounds.
