Additional welfare benefits. The worse part is, once the kids get close to 18, the parents will just discard of them because they don’t have any more use for them.

Because she loves raw dog and was no where near responsible or accountable for her actions. Sad 💩 regardless on how much she thinks she turned her life around.

She was young when she had her first set of children and she was MARRIED! What’s the issue? And a lot of older children do help with the upbringing of younger children. My great grandmother was 42 and 44 when she was on her last set of children (which happened to be my granny)….the older children helped raise her and her sister. I also helped my mama when her and my daddy started over after an 11 year gap.

@@deetheefoodiechildren should be allowed to be children. You should not have kids if you’re going to rely on your other children to help raise them! Doesn’t matter what was done in the past, that doesn’t mean it’s right. Women used to smoke cigarettes and drink while pregnant in the past does that suddenly make it ok? Slavery used to be legal does that mean that’s okay?

He was just calculating the level of poverty defined by the government. I actually googled out of curiosity and for a family of 7, it's $47,340 and that's 2024 numbers. So JM was on point here with his calculations. He was just making a point on how dire her situation was since she thought was all good. We all know that $45K isn't enough to live comfortably if it were just one person, nonetheless taking care of 6 additional people. The older adult children I'm not counting here like JM didn't either and he focused on the 6 kids, not the full 10. I hate to be that guy but in situations like this, the father(s) are never mentioned which is sad. If she's making $45K and he's making $45K then it wouldn't nearly be the struggle that it is, even though both would be poverish on an individual level.

@@1980tiffani they're never mentioned in any of these cases at all and it's sickening. Yes, she got all these kids and shouldn't have had them, especially since she's struggling BUT they also have fathers who should be able to step in. It's not all on the women but obviously they carry the majority of the weight. For her to think she's good making less than $40K and raising 6 kids is ridiculous though. Obviously you'll make it work because you have to but it's an unnecessary struggle that could have been prevented.

Similar story except I grew up in a strict religious family. By 13, 14 my female peers in Jr high and high school were already parents. Some by male peers and some by adults (disgusting I know). But my family and the church community made sure me, my siblings and my cousins didn't partake in what went on in our community...... At 40 I'm grateful bc I became someone very different than my environment cultivated. And I'm a husband and father of 1 kid. And we had her 4 years after our marriage

My mom stopped me and my sister from hanging out with our cousins because they started getting pregnant and into drugs around 13 and 14. I was mad upset for a while when she did but eventually understood.
