As a big family you can go to the market and buy a lot of seafood such as squid, lambay, fresh fish too. Make tunula with tuna, mama Olga loves tuna tunula. Yummy!
The kids really enjoy when you get here especially mama Olga's favorite swimming in the morning and afternoon maybe they won't get up from the water, I'm very excited to see them swimming

You can easily learn the language taglish (tagalog /english) the language use by most local as well as bisaya if you always talk to local people, specially the kids that can easily adopt . Try to go to Baguio instead of Boracay. Boracay is beautiful but very busy and expensive due to too much Tourist there and Baguio as far as climate and scenery goes are beautiful although its far but so much things to see specially the rice terraces
Also, if you want, bring a light raincoat since it's still rainy season when you get there. That way, you can still go around Samal or other places and not be completely be wet😅
