Guys watch STRANGERS WITH CANDY if you've never seen it but you love this video (or Cole Escola's work in general). Stars Amy Sedaris and before Colbert report Steven Colbert and it is clearly big inspo for Cole's work.
I showed it to my Thai friend, he said: "You cut the orange, you squeeze the orange. Okay, you done but its better to just eat the orange." problem solved theater school monologue
Omg that’s so true! And no that person wasn’t being homophobic. Ryland makes jokes on him being a housewife all the time! It’s a rolling joke in their household.
@@ghostcat9621 that is somewhat more difficult to explain. Perhaps we are to infer that the Mom spent a lot of time there intoxicated and/or very involved in something and thusly "lost" time, i.e a lot more time passed than she realized because of what she was doing
Kids: Where did mom go? Unmentioned father: Oh, she'll be back in a couple of months. Kids: Oh well. At least we got this good ol' orange juice until then.
Well, it was only a minute and 20 seconds. Noticed the uploader, checked the channel then deducted it. It would take 25 seconds for Benedict Cumberbatch and Robert Downey Jr. to figure that out.
I dont know why this was in my recommend, but i legit thought this was a real woman with a deeper voice up until like 50 seconds in. The arms gave it away lmao
This is some of the best writing and acting I've ever seen. I was pulled into this fictional world and I forgot about the fucking orange juice. You deserve your own show.
The acting is perfection. The gestures remind me of Alicia Silverstone in Clueless, and a bit of Drew Barrymore as well. I have watched this about twenty times already. Bravo!
I just realized, after watching this for the millionth time, that she yells out to her "boys", but then calls out to "Katie" about forgetting the pink backpack. I love stuff like that.
No but seriously, the amount of sugar in the average glass of bottled juice is SCARY AF, i'm talking practically soft-drink (soda) levels. This was awesome btw.
That’s why I always water it down when I get to half a cup. That and it reduces my acid reflex reactions and it makes the juice bottle last longer before the next grocery run.
This is buried GOLD on RU-vid. SO glad I found Cole's channel via Kaya's rec of Our Home Out West. Cole is by far one of the best modern comedy writers and actors I've found in a long time, and I'm LOOKING. I think a lot of comedians miss the nuances of performing these parts realistically which is the best way to match great writing and contrast outlandish situations like in these skits.
This still slaps and I am angry that Cole isn't a billionaire because this is a comic genius. Cole, John Early, Kate Berlant, Tim Robinson, Jessica Kirson, and Ashley Gavin are fucking top tier.
Came here after their interview with Seth Meyers cuz someone mentioned how funny it was and all I can say is, this was not at all what I expected lol. But it’s pure gold
Is it bad when I heard "And I fired to warning shots" I thought it was going to say "Into their heads" and burst into Cell Block Tango. -_-. Musical Theatre Problems.
Cole, I have loved you since “Difficult People” and when I saw your beautiful face on “Search Party” and then realized you would own an entire season *I DIED* Thank you for being brilliant and making me a happy orange. Love you🙋🏻♀️
What did I just watch!? I just want to live inside of his brain for a minute to soak in that chaotic energy that made such a disturbingly hilarious video. 😂😂
I would watch an entire series of this exact "commercial" with just different stories each time. The character of Ellen needs to be fleshed out in as many iterations as she needs to tell her whole story. That aside, this was well done. Very well done.
This is...amazing. I don't even have words to properly describe it. Amazing acting, amazing writing just...yeah. Also, get me a fucking bottle of Happy Orange, I'm sold.
