well spiders on drugs are something pretty interesting man now I want a pet spider. Like a goliath bird eater spider (isn't that the most METAL name given to any Speciesism *ever*?) which is like friendly and doesn't bite me and I would always smoke weed with my spider bro
@@ThePurpleMushroom This behavior is actually common in web building spiders like the Black Widow where they will build a web to trap prey and a web on the ground that is used like a bunker where they escape to when they are theeatened.
I was seriously paying attention like I was ready to learn about unusual spider behavior. Instead, I ended up learning about what spiders do when the streets get tough.
its a very good and informative video but i dont think they should give any of those substances to spiders. Its not natural. But other than that its a good expriment
When the caffeine spider was hyper i got very suspicious. When the pot spider built a hammoc i knew it was fake. When the alcohol spider got a restraining order i finally knew it was a joke.
When I saw the the title, I thought it was a parody. When the video started, I tought it was real. Midway, I was convinced it wasn't real. After the video, I didn't know what reality was anymore.
@@AndrewStruthers many creators don’t respond to comments on a video they uploaded an hour ago and here you are interacting with a 16 year old video. Respect
This actually was played in my Gym/Health class back in my first year of highschool. We all thought this was a legit documentary testing the effects of drugs on spiders, then we saw the restraining order part and all started laughing. The crack cocaine spider almost had kids falling out of their chairs laughing. Good times.
bork bork bork nah they were doing that in the 50s too. They basically had ice cream trucks drive around neighbourhoods and give kids ice cream samples except they weren’t ice cream trucks and instead of ice cream samples they were cigarettes.
I remember this gem! Most people found out it was bs at the hammock part. I actually thought that hammock part was pretty cool and kept watching still thinking it was a real Nat Geo clip 😂 It was a few seconds later though when the spider got a restraining order where I realized, I'm not as smart as I think I am. This video literally changed my life. Humbled me. 😂
I clicked on it for nostalgia... This used to be on a chain email. Honestly, the views are probably millions higher because of how popular of a chain email it was. But yes, was recommended
I called the Canadian Wildlife Service in Ottawa who reported that the THC spider eventually made it back to its hammock after the crack spider thought people were crawling under its exoskeleton & went completely nuts.
