Tip: if you want the soup/ramen anything like that to stay warm..you boil water and pour it in the thermos and let it sit for a few minutes. It’s called priming it. It helps food stay warm longer that way.

Prime your thermos's using boiling water and let it sit in there for 15/20 minutes(covered) and then put your hot soup in there it'll keep it at the temperature for longer!

Tip::: You can give you're chickens crushed egg shells now and then (one or trice a week.) It will make the shells on the eggs they lay stronger.

Where did you get the plastic egg cooker, or did a viewer send it to you. I would love to find one. I just spray my muffin pan with Pam and crack a egg in them and bake them in the oven.

I used to only drink hot coffee but Omg I started drinking iced and now I’m hooked! It’s so good! I rarely drink hot coffee only in really cold days. I brew my coffee at night , pour in a glass pitcher and put in the fridge so In the morning it’s cold and I pour in my creamer, coffee-stir- then add the ice! Keeps it cold.

My kids loved the thermos I would pack them chili, ziti, spaghetti and meatballs, whatever I made for dinner would go in those thermos the next day. Today marks 3 years that I lost my daughter and seeing your videos with your children fills my heart with joy and memories ❤️

The thermos bottles will not leak-just make sure they are sealed! You might also want to prime them!

Bread rolls that are sweetened in flavor. We often use them as a side dish here in the U.S or for making sandwiches.

We got the Walmart brand bento box for our kids. It’s half the price and seals well! Only disadvantage to bento vs lunch box is the drink doesn’t fit inside.

I send thermoses all the time & they won't leak as long as they have the seal. But, they do need to sit with hot water in them for a while before you fill them to prime them.

Hi Alicia yes you can put an ice pack in. Please remind them that they can’t put the thermos in the microwave because of the metal. To keep the food warm put boiling water in them for 15 minutes then pour the water out and put the warmed up soup or ramen in them. I’m going to try cooking my eggs in the oven when I make my husband his breakfast sandwiches for the week. He likes English muffins with Canadian bacon then I have a biscuit cutter and cut the cheese and egg he loves them.

If you preheat you soup or whatever you want to stay hot. First put boiling water in thermos for a few minutes empty it and add the soup or other food such as pasta, chili etc. ❤😊

Lid on, even if it's just half an hour, it heats up the inside, giving a bit more insulation. If my girls are having nuggets or popcorn chicken I put a bit of kitchen roll in the bottom for condensation. X

I boil water and put them in the thermos about 30 minutes before filling. The longer the thermos heat up the longer they stay hot, I've found. My kids love taking ramen and dumpling soup for lunch. Add some white miso and veggies for a more filling meal. Shrimp is good wirh ramen and dumplings whth some mixed veggies. Add some sesame oil while cooking the ramen and white miso paste with the dumplins, its delish. I do this if I'm using the packets not the cups lol I've been using thermos for heads, I've never had a leak. Just make sure the lids on correctly and you'll be good to go.

a quick tip for you if you are packing something you want to keep hot put there yougert in a ziplock bag with the ice block that way the hot lunch you pack wont go cold thats what i do with my yorgert when i go to day service everyday mon-fri i go to a day service for adults with disabiltys

Now I’m trying to finish a journal I’m writing to Nat filled with memories , her birth story , the story of her name and tidbits of advice all before August . I have similar thermoses they lasted for several years before they started leaking . Happy Thursday

I would have used an ice pack too because of the yogurt. I wouldn't think the thermos would be affected. I've never cooked bacon in the oven but like that idea. Does it make a mess of the oven? Have a good day. :)

We always bake our bacon. We line pan with parchment paper. After, just peel up paper and throw away. No mess. Bacon is crispy.

What is there to be embarrassed about? Other peoples opinion? Or your own insecurities? It would be more concerning for him to be embarrassed by something so superficial when his mother is making the effort to pack a lunch in the first place and when he is aware that he comes from a large family and the names keep things organized. If anything we should hope that he and people wouldn’t bother themselves with trivial matters like his name being too big on his lunchbox and instead focus on the good that is being done.

If their schools are like ours then everyone puts their lunch bags on a counter or something like that to store it, so having the name on it probably helps the teachers just as much as mom making sure the right thing is in the right bag/ with the right bookbag

She has also mentioned that the kids that came to them by way of foster care never had those sorta things and she will not single them out by making theirs different. While we may not agree she is doing and including them in every aspect of life. Showing them that they belong and are loved. No matter what thats all that matters.

if each of the kids has a different color thermos, you might not need to label them-but the label will help in case they ever get lost!
