She's being a little harsh with the photographer. She hadn't made the album, because it hadn't been paid for. After the payment was stopped on the check, she obviously wouldn't have ordered the album that she designed.
If you watch judge judy she doesn't like people that use tactics to make a sale, even though that's industry standards, JJ sometime acts all high and mighty when she never had to hustle to make ends meet.
i think it’s due to the plaintiff demanding being paid for the entire service, and rightfully so, but the entire service has not been done yet, meaning the plaintiff will leave with the money for the service being done and the defendant will leave with no album (yet)
The daughter bold faced lied when she said “no” to sharing or posting the pictures on line. The second she got them you can bet all of her friends saw them, at the least.
thats wat i thinking! Especially with the generation nowdays involved in social media always posting pics of where they are, the food they eating, the best of their life....and showing it off. I bet the mom put in her head the images were no good but she liked it and wanted to show them off....I bet the mother told the daugheter if JJ ask if you shared or used the photoes say no!
And then, “Do you want me to delete them?” and then she was fast to back down. Except that they had been shared, so she quickly realized that she had copies.
Even if the daughter “deleted” the photos, iPhone has a “Recently Deleted” folder which the daughter can click on and easily restore the photos to her library.
The daughter thinks that she’s a beauty queen because that’s all her mother ever told her. She’s a princess to NO ONE ELSE but her ridiculous mother - notice how quiet the father is because he knows EXACTLY what’s going on here.
I love my son more than life itself. To me he is perfect. I made DAMN SURE that he did not grow up thinking he was perfect to everyone else. That mother is NOT raising a self-sufficient human being who will go out in the world as a good citizen, and make their little corner of it better, AS SHE SHOULD.
I'm a photographer. If you don't get them printed from a professional printer, they will likely not be color calibrated and will not always turn out the way they are on the digitals. That's why we always recommend going with our professional print shop. These were probably printed at Walgreens.
@@anndeecosita3586 And if you have a customer who doesn't look like Kate Winslet's developmentally delayed little sister, with a mother who might, possibly, someday be satisfied with anything.
People charge a lot for portraits, but there's a lot of skill and artistry that goes into it. You're not just paying for "time". JJ is really selling the photographer short. She thinks she knows but she doesn't.
In a few years she’ll either be knocked up with her second child and baby daddy or she’ll graduate college, hook up with her much older boss who leaves his wife, then after a few puppies she develops a drinking problem because her husband finds her unattractive from having kids and leaves her for a young woman.
@@evitasdad .......I wasn't being the grammar police.......I laughed because it alludes to her daughter having multiple weddings due to her insufferable personality.....but, you know, go off 😒😮💨
This whole thing is ridiculous because from one machine/phone/computer/printer to another the colour settings are different and produce different results.
Karen Defendant receives NUMBEROUS warnings, and still pretends to be shocked when she is kicked out for not being able to control herself in a courtroom. I can only imagine what that poor photographer went through with her.
The photos on the phone looked great. Normal professional grad shoot. The red one looked out of place.. something's fishy.. and they definitely have those photos saved somewhere else.
JJ doesn't understand how photography works at all. Editing photos is a long and tedious process. The only result that really matters is how the printed photos the photographer gives you look like. How the colors look on your phone/screen depends on the model of your display and how it is calibrated-if at all. What you print on your home printer will be awful anyway. There is a reason professional, specialized photograph printers are so expensive. The plaintiff deserved much more money for her work.
The daughter wouldn't even have them on her phone if she hated them. The dad tried to say it was for evidence, but if they got sent to the mom via email and the mom has them on her phone, then why does the daughter need them for evidence. They got the photos from this woman, the mom posted them because she thinks her daughter is the most beautiful thing next to the sun--as she should because all parents do--and then someone made a comment about her red hair, and the Karen mom saw an opportunity to try and pay NOTHING MORE for the service. I had senior portraits done. We ordered an album and a DVD. We got all the digital prints and then AFTER our payment cleared, we got the DVD and the album that my parents ordered. The photographer ordered both and had them shipped directly to us, we got a tracking number and everything. That's pretty standard practice, because what does the photographer do if a situation EXACTLY like this arises? They can't return the album or resell it. So now they've wasted money on an album of someone else's child that is literally trash to them.
I’ve dealt with these types of people and as a photographer it is very frustrating. They claim they hate the pics and don’t want them, yet always end up sharing them first. Once a photographer no longer has full discretion of how the photos are being distributed, you have to pay for what you now own!
If the family wasn't happy with certain elements of the digital photos, they could have simply bought them anyway and made slight alterations in the color, composition, cropping, etc. The defendants were just trying to get something for free.
The mom's sarcastic laughter every time Judge Judy reprimands her. Because she knows this is the point she would normally ask for her manager to put her in her place.
Just when I thought "Can't that spoiled brat smile ?", judge Judy asked if the girl could smile for her. I would have sworn that she didn't ask that just to be sure that the girl looked like the pictures ...
Just cause you delete on the phone doesn't mean it's not on your computer and you have save images else where. Just cause she says she hasn't sent any to friends...which i highly don't believe! Doesn't mean she can't get those pics back. Also does JJ know that if you delete the pic its not gone from phone unless you go to recenently deleted and empty trash?
LOL, deleting the pics off their phones likely doesn't get rid of them. For example, on my iPhone, I can delete them off the phone but they will still be archived in the cloud so I can go get them from there.
Judge Judy was a bit out of her depth on how photography is done. If the defendant stopped payment, I wouldn't assemble an album either, it's a waste of money. The photographer sends samples, generally with watermarks, to give an idea of how the shoot went. Then you comment on what's wrong and could be altered. You might even come in and go over all the photos you want to keep and actually purchase for your set number and what you don't want to print. Like wedding photography. Not every shot is going to be a winner. So you take a lot and narrow down what you like the most.
