Part of me wishes we hadn't told anyone first time around, even thought I would have been VERY obvious. I let my mom come with me once shopping and she just railroading the entire trip. By the time I got there she had a cart full of stuff SHE liked. And I felt like I had to make concessions even if I didn't like or want the stuff she was "buying for the baby." After that it was just, "It matches the theme of the nursery!" A theme she picked out and I was made to feel incredibly guilty over for not wanting so I broke and she got what she wanted.

This depends on your relationship if I got pregnant I would definitely never tell my parents

I wa so worried when it said “at 28 weeks” because that is so scary and so early! All babies safely delivered and all healthy! That is an absolute incredible blessing.

A lot of them just don't want to jinx it. Especially those who have miscarried before or had stillbirth. Wanting to hold it in until they are finally here gives some a peace of mind. Or they could just like to play. I am seriously considering not telling people the gender of my child until they are like two or 3. I hate gender norms and conformity. Not the same but kinda I guess.

@@Annonymous5411 I honestly can't blame you, the amount of gender conformity talk I get from people about my kids drives me crazy. Especially my son. I've got 2 daughters who are older than him. I try really hard not to put them in a box in regards to their sex, but I get way more crap about it with my son. My dad is always twitting me about his hair (it's long because he doesn't want to cut it), asking when I'm going to cut his hair. He (my son) and wears his older sister's clothes pretty regularly, because they're close to the same size. She's very petite, and he's very tall. So I get crap when my son wears a pink shirt or sparkly leggings. But do I get any comments when my daughter wears her brother's jeans and t-shirts? Nope. And my dad was downright horrified when I suggested that my son would love a Barbie for Christmas, since he's always playing with the Barbies that my 5 year old got for her birthday last year. Of course, he got him a remote control truck instead. (Still a pretty cool toy, but it's the principal of the matter lol.) And just last night I was complaining to my mom that all the kids have recently been alllll about poop and fart and pee jokes (like kids do, but it's still gross at the dinner table), and she told me that the girls would probably grow out of it once they became "young ladies". Like, really? I'm sure all of them will outgrow talking about it at the dinner table as they mature, it doesn't have anything to do with their sex. But I'm 33 and I still laugh at a good fart joke, lol. She does too! I just don't get why people have to put kids in these little boxes. So I totally understand where you're coming from!

@@stephanievineyard2249 I had a friend (who was surprisingly quite young) who had a boy and a girl. She was really annoyed when her daughter made fart jokes, but not her son. She said "I just didn't expect that from my little girl".

@@HLKpop yes but the babies were extremely premature and small so they could've easily died in the NICU. It's ok. You don't know how they were. Hopefully they all survived. It was really a rhetorical question.

Sadly, the couple in the first clip has now been divorced for some time and he is remarried.

It's not about the doctor, it is about the position of the fetuses during ultrasound. This happens a lot. My midwife told me she had seen over 30 surprise multiple births in her 22 years (at that time) in the profession.
