That "really cool flaring" is not cool. If you ever have a backlit subject of any kind, the shot will be pretty much ruined unless you can flag or block the light from hitting the lens. The flare issue is why I dumped the previous version of the Moment lenses, and it looks like that has not improved. Just too many air to glass pass throughs when you put a lens on top of a lens.

It seems like moment looks at the flare as if it’s a cinematic bonus… I agree with you I do not like the flare.

I just got the T wide 18 mm. Have you noticed that when mounted in the main camera ( iPhone 14 Pro Max, ), the image is not as sharp as with the native lens?
