The “im gunna go take a nap in starbucks parking lot” thing is so real 😅 I mean I dont think I have done it as a mom in 6.5 years though Im sure i have sat in may car staring for longer than I needed to 😂 BUT when I was taking care of my dad who had Alzheimer’s and cancer between 2010-2015 I totally did that. Sometimes I couldnt take it anymore and when someone would watch him for me Id just go sit in target parking lot cry and then set a timer and sleep for like 20-30 mins before i had to go back. Once I did it at the dentist and they noticed😮 They got done with me super early and I was like damn, now i have to go back to all that and I just didnt want to so I slept until it was closer to the time I thought Id be getting out and the dental assistant came out and saw me 🙀She knocked on my window and its was super embarrassing. I dont remember what I said but it was some dumb lie. Cause saying “i just dont wana go back to taking care of someone who cant remember me and pulls my hair and cusses me out all day” was just not an option 🙀 Being a care giver of any kind is just a hard hard job

My fourth born is turning one in September and I definitely feel the real mom “wish list” 😂

I love that the real mom had a constant supply of coffee, that tumbler is constantly attached to your hand to keep ya going

I can’t tell you how much you videos validate me so I’m a mom and I’m also a caregiver a nanny and I have been working with children for years and years and years and I’ve been trying to explain to people how I can take care of kids how it’s not authoritative but it’s also not permissive and I never really had a word for it before and you have given me those words and validated how I handle taking care of children and it’s wonderful thank you

Omg I totally gave my children cardboard boxes as gifts, they did get some toys, but when they’re 1 and 3 years old, they play with everything but the toys 🤣🤣

I did "baby led weaning", with my first and kept doing it. Why? Because while kiddo was busy playing with food, I could eat dinner while it was still warm! Youngest did end up with some purees at daycare. Why? Because I'm lazy and that it what our provider was used to.

Nope, all the babies ive known i buy a few super big boxes and fat crayons for their 1st and 2nd birthdays. The parents think im being disrespectful and chide me for being a childless cheapskate, the grandparents cackle cuz they know. The kids spend hours with my box gift and ignore everything else. Im the best aunt ever! Next time i get the kiddos on a hot day i am going to strip them to their diapers and give them each a smock and an unlimeted amount of nontoxic finger paint and a canvas. When they are done i have the hose and dawn soap and a kiddie pool.

The Instagram mom is what my brain thinks I should be doing, and what I wish I had the time and energy to do...but real life mom, that's what really happens...so I'm constantly n r atung myself up for not being like insta mom😰 also....any tips on potty training would be awesome, also...random screaming, food therapy, any help getting my 2 ye old to eat...anything...he rejects 99% of alllllllllllllllll foods, not even exaggerating...also, hitting, kicking, throwing things ..not listening...and has no idea or understanding of the word no.....send help 🤦🏽‍♀️
