This toy feels cursed

Any toy that audibly cries has to have been intentionally designed for one's adult enemies. Like, are there kids out there really asking, "Why doesn't my doll wail like a banshee?!?" I'm also choosing to compartmentalize and forget the fact that _anything_ has a "purge" button.

It kinda reminds me of the "Amazing Amanda" doll when I was a kid. I wanted it, then I hated it... She would wake up at all hours of the night... Just like having a baby... At one point my mom witnessed my grandma choking the doll out early in the morning in her nightgown begging for the thing to shut up 😂😭😂 Later on we had a garage sale and my family was trying to discourage and beg a lady from buying it for her own sanity. She bought it. 😂

As soon as I realized there was a sucking motion at the mouth I thought of those baby dolls in the 90's where kids were getting hair and fingers caught. This doll is evil. So happy my kid has no concept of toy ads yet.

I feel like I would wake up to this doll standing over me with a knife at 2am. I've seen Chucky... Nope, not today Satan doll.

The batteries come out. " Oh, Baby! It's already broken?! At least she has pretty hair..." That's what happened to every loud toy I ever gave my nephews, and now, their kids, too. It amazing how toy manufacturers don't do better to keep things from breaking. 😉

I begged for Squand. I was allowed to play with it once, and 25 years later when my dad is fed up with someone, he still says, “I’m going to get their kid Squand for Christmas.”

You know, this could be great for teaching teens to avoid pregnancy.

You tolerated this toy a lot longer than I did. 😆 It makes noise and it's creepy looking! 😳 😬 👀 My youngest sister had a "Betsy Wetsy" doll back in the early 60's. It made noise and got everything wet all the time. One day, it mysteriously broke 💔 and we never had to hear her again. Yay!

This seems like the perfect alternative to those more expensive "baby simulator" dolls for a life class. 🤣 maybe good for the homeschooling mom of a preteen or teen, or something like that. Toy for small child? Absolutely not!

As a kid, my grandma got my little sis a realistic crying baby doll that would just wail for three minutes straight and started randomly...my mother and father hated it and secretly threw it out, even me and my sister were done with it by the time it "disappeared"

I suggest anything that requires water be distilled water. This prevents it getting caked up over time. My son loves monster trucks that "steam" and I also suggest a 60cc syringe. Because your child will insist upon "do it myself" and you can give them a syringe and not require major cleaning when they're done. Edited to add: I would not buy that. At least I can ask my child why he's crying at me. And I know that sounds some type of way but there's a legit difference with my son between crying and crying at me and until recently it was no where close to rational for reasons why. For instance, he cried at me because I didn't give him a hotdog. He didn't ask, so I gave him a hotdog. Then he cried at me because I didn't cut it, again he didn't ask so I cut it. Then he cried at me because I cut it, after he asked and I called it. We went to bed.

When I was growing up in the 80's I had a 'Tiny Tears' doll. I think my Mum allowed me to put water in it once!

It reminds me of a robot cat I had as a kid that you were supposed to take care of like a real pet. It had glowing red eyes and would randomly wake up at night screaming. No off button. I wound up chucking it across my room screaming at it to shut up at 3am.

The "playability"-rating should count double or triple, since it is the criteria that will haunt you for the longest if it's rated lowly.

This is soooooo the epitome of my life. "How much water. Oh less than that. Now I need a paper towel."

All I remember is that those expensive toys with noise or some kind of robot, never got played with more than a few times. Then tamagotchi, furby & robo-dog ended up in the closet.

Cabbage Patch Kids flashbacks. It reminds me of the CPK doll that cried unless you had a special necklace. Also the CPK doll that ate kids’ hair came to mind when this doll ate Gwenna’s finger.

I wish you’d done this when my kids were young, I had to work it out the hard way - many batteries were “oh, it’s broken, never mind, play with something else” haha

I know the Easy Bake Oven is kinda an old school toy form when I was like 7(I'm 22 now) but I would love for you to try it out. I think it would be fun to watch you figure it out.

It's messy, it's loud, and it's a wee bit creepy...but I gotta admit, it's a guilty pleasure of mine. The mouth movements are actually pretty cool to me, the way it makes a pout when it gets sad and little dimples when it gets happy! And I don't know, as far as animatronic dolls go, I've seen a lot creepier than this. Remember Luvabella?

Don't forget the kids sticking their fingers in the mouth to let the baby "chew" their finger because the pacifier is missing and the damn thing closing and basically having a meltdown so you need the paramedics, an engineer and the 14 yr old recluse down the block that everyone thinks is possibly related to Ted Kazinski, to come over and unfreeze the mechanism so the finger doesn't have to be amputated. Or the doll's head cut open to release the finger..... I give it 24 to 36 hrs for this to occur. Loved this video! My kids are grown ass men now but I shared to FB for all of my friends with littles. It's like those dolls the kids took home from school! After 4 kids the last one went back without it's batteries! My son and I were both in tears LoL funny/not funny! BTW I got my youngest and his GF help me usher in the holiday spirit in my house today. Your poem the other day motivated me to get my head out of my ass!

I find your videos absolutely entertaining! When you said "I don't know why you're crying" I was like yep...parenting. And purging just sounds...like she had an eating disorder. I had a doll that laughed or cried when I was a kid - I'm 45 - and it was obnoxious but not that obnoxious. And the original Baby Alive just seemed so much easier than toys now. Lol. I had a toy like this as a child. It went off at random hours of the night. My mom and I both hated it and I willingly trashed it within a week (rare at 6). 24 years later, childfree.

Oh this doll is too creepy! When I was about 3 my parents bought me an oopsie baby... it came wired wrong, so instead of crawling like a normal baby then falling down and crying, it crawled backwards and growled. To this day I cannot stand toys that move or make noise on their own 😱

If it's like my house only one shoe will be missing the other shoe will be going off on a journey with the rest of the missing shoes. Also there is a hard "NO" for any doll that can make prolonged crying noises and anything that requires water that can't be controlled. We also have rules about dolls with teeth, but that could just be one too many horror movies from my teenage years.

TBH all baby dolls were birth control for a lot of us. XD But that seems annoying and awful. Very amused about opening her skull to add water so she can get wet all over tho.

That's a perfect example of the kind of toys I wouldn't get for someone else's child. I'd also make anyone who got that for one my kids keep it at there place for when my kid visits them. This doesn't mean that I don't get noise makers for kids cause I do. I just choose things that I can deal with so that if the parent can't handle any noise it makes it just stays at my place for when the kiddo is with me. LOL!
