Yesss!! I am so ready for mine. It will be my 49th gift to me. I’m getting a breast reduction, tummy tuck and liposuction. Three years ago I did my main surgery…hysterectomy 🎉🎉. I’m so ready! I’m going to walk in my 50’s like…I’m here!! 😂. Many prayers and full recovery 💗💚💗💚

If you put the travel pillow behind your neck it will push you forward & cause neck pain. If you put the pillow in front and opening in back (actually correct way come to find out🤷🏻‍♀️) you can sleep and let your head fall to side or front. MUCH more relaxing for neck muscles :)

I don't know if anyone else has shared this with you yet 🤔 so I'll share with you what you can do with the extra bar soap 🧼 you can turn it into handy liquid soap 🧼 +💧 = liquid soap that you can use 🧴as hand soap/ body wash or as a cleaning soap 😉 here's a simple recipe/process: How to Make Liquid Soap Out of a Bar of Soap Grate or cut the soap. Place in a large pot with 1 gallon water... (depending on the number of bars of soap 🧼 will determine the thickness of the final product) Turn the heat to high and bring to a boil. ... Turn off the heat and let the soap sit overnight to gel. ... Use a stick blender to mix well. Or just stir well You don't have to use a stick blender, or regular blender but I highly recommend it. It helps incorporate the soap and water. Your liquid hand soap may separate if you don't use a stick blender. Just give it a good shake, and it's safe to use. It might, however, clog the soap pump. Pour into a container and refill your soap dispensers I hope this helps with all that bar soap 🧼 to 🧴

You can donate the unused Bar soap to a men's shelter, if you end up not having to use it for an extended time, dial is so drying for the skin. Surprised they didn't give you a surgical body soap for before. You should try the lume body wipes, luv them. I think your for sure gonna be annoyed with your hair, and there's no such thing as to many hair ties, lol. Good luck, so happy/excited for you taking the step to make yourself happy. 😊❤

I’m not sure if it’s too late or not but MD’s usually prescribed colace (stool softener) if opioids/painkillers are prescribed for post op pain relief because constipation is a concern. Stool softeners make to bowel movements easier without inducing diarrhea. I believe smooth ease contains senna which has a laxative effect and may be too harsh causing cramping and diarrhea. Hope that helps and pray for an easeful recovery! ❤

I had smart lipo and needed that portable urinal. Not because I couldn’t sit on the toilet, but because the faja had an opening that made it easier than taking it completely off each time. So excited for you 😊

I wish I would have seen this before your surgery, there are bonnets for braids that are perfect to keep your hair out the way. Also for the bar soap, you can melt it down and turn it into body wash(Pinterest has recipes)

I went with my best friend as her caregiver and she did take the arnica tablets. I also suggest stool softners she's an RN but I'm a chronic patient and she's never had surgery before and pain medicine cause things to slow down and cause hard stools (this I know) so I had her start on stool softeners the morning before. We brought a walker with us and she ended up not needing it. She sat on the toilet fine but I think its because she's 5 foot. I'm 5' 6" and would of had a problem. We also washed her incisions with hibicleanse. You can get that off of Amazon. Good luck with everything I took care of 2 friends this summer so I should be a pro when my time comes. Because it was just the two of us she just just had her compressions on and her post op bra on. Also you want to get chucks to put under tou because you do leak body fluids and blood.

Hey there Gabe!! I'm a long time follower sending prayers to you and your journey on getting -YOU- back!!!!!! I had breast augmentation, tummy tuck and lipo years ago. I watched everything you purchased for your hospital bag you are so on point, you will definitely need a lot of the things that you bought some of it is individual depending on your pain how big the surgery was. Definitely the heating pad OMG for your back for your tummy when the doctor clears you to use a heating pad on your tummy, for your neck just anywhere you're feeling pain and on the area with lipo!!! The neck pillow definitely you will need and a recliner I'm so happy you will have a recliner!!! Because lying flat is difficult in the beginning. Don't use a Walker I agree you're in good health good shape you want to train your body to move through recovery at the highest effort without suffering. Lean on Babe!! The only other thing I can think of for you is you may want to get a foam toilet seat that you mention that especially if you have lipo on the back of your thighs mainly......I found that's why I needed it. If that's not your experience then you may not need it..... It is very comfy though and you don't have to squat so low. You may need help wiping your bottom after going to the bathroom and I had my adult daughter help me with that so your hubby may definitely need to help you with that it was hard to twist and wipe for a little while. Otherwise your hospital bag is the bomb. Com!! And so are you!!! I'm so happy for you, so proud of you rooting for you girl! Praying for you girl! I did not have gastric bypass although I was encouraged to. I still like to enjoy food with out the restrictions my friends have been dealing with. Dial Gold antibacterial bars are my favorites. The only soap I've used for at least a decade. I know this doesn't matter now since you already have the 12 bars but Dollar Tree sells them in just the 2 bars pack. Hopefully this helps someone else who doesn't use Dial and could use that bit of info. 😂

How in the world have you survived without a heating pad?☺️ Surely you'll get an after surgery care packet. You definitely packed for it 😊. I bought a pair of Muk Luks bootie house shoes, man they are so soft and your feet feel like you're walking on a cloud (my idea of what walking on a cloud would feel like🙂).Praying for a successful surgery & recovery, more than anything that God will also guide your surgeons hands.

I had the Breast lift, I made the mistake of lifting, please don’t stitches will pull. You may also want to sleep with a back rest because lying flat after the lift hurts. It took me about 6 months to sleep, yes SLEEP IN THE RECLINER. You should also ask your docs about taking all those supplements while on the pain meds. Showering it was useful to have a removal shower head because bandages can’t get wet. Praying for you soror. 💖💚

Never heard of the urinating device but for a long car trip could come in handy 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ The bars of soap are good for killing bacteria so use for underarms.
