for those unaware of Eris and think this is an odd concept. Eris is actually an MMC original character who has the ability to scan other transformers and use their abilities/take on their apperence/etc. which is why this one looks like Armada Megs, and the original one looks like Tarn
Its surprises me that someone has not yet made a gag post of Eris: Armadon as a LEGO minifig of Lord Garmadon with the head of Eris from Legends of CHIMA
This mold is one of the few third party figures that I got and actually liked. People may disagree, but your typical third party experience is sth that looks really good in both mode, and then when you get it, you realized it's either a nightmare to transform, had some questionable build quality or material choice, or a combination of all those three.
My experience with generation toy devastator in a nutshell. I’ve only had three 3P figures and two of them are “fourth party” or knock offs of 3P. Those knockoffs are better than Gravity Builder. Heck, kingdom tracks is better
I'm really surprised that a waifufied version of a character actually becomes a good toy. Every time I see those slim curvy bodies on a tramsformer all I can think of is "How the hell does thing turn into a 'blocky' vehicle?"
Looked immediately for this comment because her Tarn version had more than 90.. there's no way MMC would do this much articulation but skimp on the elbows. :)
I literally just learnt about Megaempress (TLDR a female Megatron). With a quick retool and repaint, she could be turned into a new version of Megaempress
Unless they have changed it between eria and this one there is a double jointed elbow. Its as the bottom of the tread. It can be a little tight but it is there

Megaempress isn't Megatron, she's a separate character who was built from Megatron's spare parts and tried to take command of the Decepticons from him.
@@thedrifter5531 She has the ability to influence male Transformers to them do her bidding, kind of like Poison Ivy's pheromones. She tried to gain power by seducing Megatron (and later Galvatron), and when that failed, she sought to bring about a new world order with female Cybertronians dominating the males.

I have her next to both Meg-Tyranno and Hasbro's Armada Megatron. She looks fantastic, even with her Tarn counterpart. She's different enough to be worth buying, especially at retail and not the overblown scalper prices.
Gender swapped Megatron giving me Diablo 4 vibes. Articulation looks outstanding, and the tank mode is one of the best I've seen in a while. Puts the Hasbro Tarn pretty much to shame. And actual working tread seem worth the price of admission alone.
I do own the original MMC version of Eris an i just basically left her on the shelf doing the Jack O Pose with Big Firebird EX-01 Plus Mooka and i have my MMC Tyrantron (Megatron) an MMC Optus Pexus (Orion Pax) enjoying the show seeing Lady Tarn (Eris) an Arcee (EX-01 Mooka) doing the Jack O Pose
All I can think of during the articulation demo with V from CP2077 is that I hope Jobby cannot get ahold of one of these. I won't be able to resist watching the review and I know I will regret it.

This is a great looking toy but I do really wish that there was much less of a propensity to go for the super-slim swimsuit model physique when companies design female robots. While Eris is at least not as skeevy of a design as those by companies like Big Firebird and Flame Toys I do still wonder how she would've looked if she was designed more like, say, Strongarm from RID '15 - Still feminine but also bulky and strong like the original Armada Megs.
The hip cannons honestly suit this design way better than it suits the original. Also oh my god those articulated fingers are so unnecessary haha. They're too small, just give me static hands at that scale
Also I love this better than the male designs, this just seems so nice and comprehensive and posable, I genuinely thought this was a redesign of the male design, so genuinely you could use it as a male design if you wanted to
