Lucky for you to witness an Animation legend in person talking! I'm an animator too, and I would really love to chat with those greats and ask them questions about their movies. By the way my most favorite Bluth film is the Original Land before time since it had a great moral lesson about how to survive without the parents, and it played the power of friendship moral in a very original way!
Whatever there is to criticize about his films, it is hard not to like this man when he's so earnest. In every thing he does and makes he's exposed, sentimental warts and all. That's why he's so easy to make fun of, and so easy to like.
It's always a treat to see and hear Don talking to aspiring artists and animation lovers about how to find your road to happiness. Looking forward to seeing him again soon in Arizona!
I would love for Don Bluth to make that Christmas movie called Snow Bird, if I was a billionaire I would've given him more than 30 million, I probably would've given him 100 million or 200 million. still I hope one of his fans or maybe crowdfunders like Angel Studios gives him enough money to make a movie.
As far I remember, only the first movies are from Bluth and Goldman. All the movies after the first were made by someone else. Well, it shows with the Secret of Nimh. The first were allways the best. Awesome to see Don Bluth is still with us.
