The outfits, the hair, the dances, the beat, the head bop, the subject matter, the voices, the cool ass swag. Very nostalgic! 😩😍 I’m so glad I was a young child and grew up in the 90’s 💯
They still have talent today, they just get shelved because society prefers sex, drugs, and rock and roll. And the industry pushes certain agendas to fit their mold of how they see the life being. This why we should create our own system that markets soul true soul and not this watered down mess fed to us. Speak up and change things
I'm sure I bring all her views.. I love this song.. especially when kane put the chain around her neck...also when they turned like "yall know what it is!" 💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥 And the band rock, period!!😂😂😂

Mona Lisa had some serious Aaliyah vibes and really wished her career blew up too. Could you imagine her and Aaliyah doing a Monica/Brandy type of collabo back then? Girl could hold her own.
To all my 70's BABIES who were Partying and Clubbing in the 1990's DECADE, Yall know this was a 90's CLUB BANGER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And hearing this joint makes us all reminisce back to our young days in our 20's in the 1990's CLUBS
@@TwoPrettyRedDimes oh no no no you wasnt, lol , you was only old enough to go to teenage house parties in the 90's decade boo , lmao . it was the (60's babies) & the (70's babies) who were the young adults all up in the hiphop, rnb & reggea club scene jamming in the 90's decade baby , lol
It wasn't that she missed her window. Her management (one of whom's on the phone with her in the video) was a former A&R of Uptown Records (post Diddy) that got a lot of projects shelved. Despite appearances on Soul Train, Teen Summit, All That, and even some Bad Boy Remixes, her management was more concern with exposing her labelmates Dru Hill (no hate to them) than her. 11-20-79 is a fire album, tho. Island Def Jam should've promoted better.exposing
She got lost in the shuffle there was a lot of talent out there at the time and the album got lost but not going to lie the album was fire 🔥 I wish she was able to truly shine back then
Yes, it was 96’ think about who was out , Brandi’, Monica’, Xscape, Mary j Blige, Mariah Carey , Toni Braxton, En Vogue, Faith Evans, those were the universal playlist , and almost 40’ Black distribution movies came out from 1995-1997 with killer soundtracks !!! But I will say this , that girl had talent and should have easily been Universal!!!
if you look at most of the videos back then, this was how they were dressed, but not all, but definitely most, matter of fact I don't think Brandy, Monica, Aaliyah, Mary J (just to name a few) Never was half naked in a video before, always respected themselves, ya'll better thank Luke and then South cats that started having strippers in their videos. smh
+DJ Rod B lol why did you include aaliyah in your list you must have never seen any of her of videos she stayed wearing bra tops/bikini tops/crop tops in her videos
See, these were days when you could dress like a boy and not be called butch, wear overalls, timbs and still be pretty and fly. You didn't have to show your body in order to get attention. I really miss those days.
I remember doing that dance on the skating floor in my skates at Skate Key in the Bronx, New York with one of the cute dudes at the rink. Lord........... I miss those days. 2:49
“Afraid of rejection but your perfection girl is real, yo I could write a book on how you make a n***a feel”....... this song is a C L A S S I C !!!!!!!
