Hey Rory! I liked them quite a bit. It’s a very cool cafe-ish vibe that I thought was pretty dope. Personally I might swap out the grips, but they’re pretty standard and nothing wrong with them.
Hey there! They are a bit smaller than you would think, but before I got hands on, I was imaging them to be on the large size, and in reality they're very middle tier in that regard. I think this is a bike that is meant to grip and rip, so probably not really doing a whole lot of pedaling and relying on the throttle quite a bit. It is difficult to get a full leg extension for me (5'11") but again, these are much more for riding around, having a good time, then getting a good workout in, imo. Are you looking to get an Ebike, and what would your use case be?
Hey man! Yes indeed. They might be the only bike, or one of a handful of bikes, that meets and exceeds the marketing, in my opinion. Such a cool vibe, and super fun to ride around. :)
28mph I believe is top unlocked speed. And on these ones (not sure about comparing new models battery capacity) are getting around 25-30 miles with throttle depending on all the other range factors.
Hey Madi! Yes these bikes were nice and a whole lot of fun to ride around! I don't think they have a way to add a child's seat currently, but if your kid was old enough, you both may be able to ride on the seat together, since they are both extra long.
That is an excellent question! Unfortunately, I'm not 100% sure. We met up with the Monday Motorbikes guys up in Waco for this review, so we didn't get to spend our usual amount of time on the bike, and I didn't get to jump into the advanced features or anything like that. I'm hoping to get one sent to me for a long-term review, and if that happens I should know more about the goings ons with the advanced settings and such.
These new ebikes are too slow on the road too fast on the side walk. Too lite to be a moped. Other drivers are annoyed 😒 of slow moving e bikes in front of them. On the side walk, same thing side walk are like race track for e-bikes
Hey Jack! I totally get sentiment on some of these bikes. Is 28mph not fast enough for most city type streets in your area? Where I’m at we see a lot of 35mph streets and it can be a little slower than traffic, but maybe not terrible? We also have a ton of bike lanes, so that also relieves most Ebike riders of having to choose between slowing down traffic or flying on the sidewalks. I can definitely see the issues if you don’t have bike lanes and faster streets though!
