The time is here! After 16,664 days as a Union League employee, Jim Mundy is retiring. Jim started at the League on May 15, 1978. That is 45 years, 7 months and 14 days that he has dedicated to caring for and sharing the history and historic collections of the Union League. Though Jim is one of the most humble people in the world, it is hard to dispute the indelible mark he has left on the League, the membership, his colleagues, and so many thousands of others. In this final episode of the Legacy Foundation's Mondays with Mundy, Jim shares a photographic review of his time here at the League - and some of the fun stories along the way!
With this bittersweet news, the Legacy Foundation also shares that this will be the final episode of Mondays with Mundy. This short-video series started during COVID, in April 2020, as a way to stay connected and continue sharing the history. Who knew it would end up running for more than three years, and air well over 100 episodes? However, as Jim says at the end of this episode... all good things must come to an end.
Watch this episode to hear more of Jim's stories and the last of his musings. Congratulations, Jim, to a well-deserved retirement, from your many, many fans!
