Well said! Brad has been always unpredictable, he takes risks and doesn't stay in his comfort zone cashing in on his good looks, which he certainly could have. And that's what makes him so appealing as an actor aside from being extremely talented and his natural, subtle, but very expressive acting style. He's also genuine and humble, always true to himself, the real deal.
@M Dude... How come you are in every video about this movie with this very comment copy-pasted to all of them. People in my country for one don't even remember the existence of Baseball and do praise football but it doesn't matter. Moneyball is a great movie.
Great interview by Janelle Riley as usual. I actually seek her interviews out. Jonah and Brad were interesting and had a wonderful rapport. Jonah surprised me at first with his dramatic turn but he’s been consistently great. And Brad is great too... he just doesn’t always get his due.
i like how jonah described his favourite scene, the meaning of it and he feels about it. He expresses so well how the movie addresses the idea of value and responsibility in many levels, very intense. Brad is so funny, and he's really a very intuitive, smart guy. Certainly a blast to hang out with.
46:30 Jonah talking about respecting auditioning actors. The most respect I ever got in an audition came from Bill Paxton, who was interested, engaged, and supportive through a very tough audition. He was a class act.
@M you the same soccer dude that posts this same shit on all sorts of videos? I give you an A for effort man haha even tho soccer is kind of a dud but i like your passion
I never cared about Hill as an actor until I saw Moneyball, at which point I remember thinking ,"wow... "Brundon" has some game..." Understated to be sure, but he did what the part called for, which was to play a character thrown into the fast-paced world of sports tossing around theories based on economics. I enjoyed the movie, and I enjoyed the performances of all the actors, including Hoffman, who played the perfect "grizzled" and road worn manager.
Love the analogy that Jonah relates to the Peña trade scene.. there is always a meaning to life happenings that’s below the surface. Fantastic interview
yo guys did anyone notice brad literally stayed quite for like 10 mins of just straight up jonah talking?? lmao it was just funny how the like "move-star" or whatever thats like bigger than jonah is like not talking as much its nice to see
This was a great interview. I love these so much more then the dumb RC or the Junket ones that are really just soundbites. I love Brad's sense of humor. He is really funny and has a great sense of humor. If you have seen or read his speeches for the Director's Guild presenting to Quentin or his speech at the PGA you need to. he is so funny. I like Jonah and am glad he is doing some different things.
Wo kya chiz tha... Jawab. Paapi Ass Holes Tumhe Hi Mubarak. Twenty Pilots Vs Rest Ass Holes. Ena Mena Ki Maaro.. Ja Na Re . Bhaak Sudh Ho Aur 6 Chiz Ki Khusi Khusi Swagat Ho. Twenty One Ka Dekhna Hi Ass Holes Ka Maza Saza Me Badal Dega..
SAG and SAGA you work in spots so you take a job as a night security guard. Brad has to stop stealing this kids camera angle bobbing in front of him . Bennett Miller cut a great film . Tight shots spliced between darkness and light humor and anger failure and success, tragedy and success. Jonah was the catcher. Did the scouts sabermetric the physical skills of acting or get sag cards for a new career ? The difference between acting entertainment and sports entertainment is the latter is production based emotions and the former is a production of emotions. When the two are merged well as in this film it's a win- win. Actually the justice denouement is like watching death to youth happen and it is a form of tragedy.and the pena scene is a kind of disapproval for strivers seeking approval. So it's a buddy picture in their experience.
