I made this for our supper tonight. Hubby really liked it. My tweeks were venison, ground ginger then I also added a blend of broccoli, carrots and cauliflower vegies along with the green onions. DELICIOUS!!!!!!
I just stumbled across this recipe this today and made it this evening. My wife and I loved it. I followed the recipe but added julienned red bell pepper with the scallions. Next time I will make it with a quarter teaspoon of crushed red peppers for a bit of heat an I'll cut the brown sugar in half. This is a simple and wonderful recipe. As Canadian Red Green would say, "keep your stick on the ice".
Hi Dave, just made this the other day. It came out great ,very vlaverful ,better than other recepies I tried. The sauce is very good. Enjoyed it very much and so simple.Thank you.
Hi Dave, I have saved lots of your recipes! I just wanted to let you know, as my partner and I don’t live together and he sometimes lets me know he can come down the day before. I decided to make your Mongolian Ground Beef! And yep, we both agreed, it was absolutely fabulous!:-) I will definitely be making it again!! Thank you so much for making it quick, easy and truly delicious! Warm regards Jo from Clare, Suffolk, UK
Hey there. Thanks so much for the nice comment. So glad you and your partner enjoyed it. It's so simple yet so nice. You are so welcome and hope you make many more recipes.
Hi Christiana. Thanks so much. I think you'll really enjoy it. Coco wags his tail. He's been a brat the last couple of day. Part of growing up I glues. Stay safe and well.
@@TheCooknShare I made it last night for dinner and my family enjoyed this dish. Thank you for the recipe. I also look forward to your other recommended recipes. Greetings from Cebu, Philippines.
looks amazing will have to try! one of your recipes- the coconut curry chicken I make at least once a month for the past few years. love how easy yet delicious your recipes are
Hi there. Thanks so much. So glad you are making our recipes. Yeah, I love the Red Green show. Actually, Steve lives close to us. Hard to believe he is 75 now. Well, have to run to a meeting at Possum Lodge. Stay well and take care.
Hey Edward. I never thought of that. Great food for a college student. I'll have to make more of those recipes. Spread the word around campus. Stay safe and well.
Good morning Dave. That's be of my many favorite meals.. It looks amazing and delicious 👍. Thank you so much for sharing. Have a wonderful day Dave and be safe ❤️
I've got all the ingredients for this. I would make it with sliced beef, but as it's so expensive ground beef is a great alternative. So good to come home to after milking the yak or flying the hawk. 😉
Hello Dave. - That was a pretty fast trip. From Mongolia to Ontario in a flash!! hahaha - Was that Brown sugar? Tried to find out on the site but did not find that recipe. - Can this be as good with ground pork? I have plenty of it right now. - What is a substitute for Oyster sauce? Or can I just leave it? Be well & have a good weekend Dave!
LOL. Yes, Serge. It was very fast indeed. Technology hey. There was hoisin sauce in it. Do you have that? I don't think there was oyster sauce. Oh sorry about the recipe, I forgot to publish it Opps. The link is cooknshare.com/recipe/recipe/mongolian-ground-beef-in-15-minutes/ I think it would be really good with ground pork. Have a super weekend my friend.
Dave my good friend, this looks delicious, I think going with the rice vs mashed potatoes is the better choice, I think the girls would eat this, but I don't think they have had housin sauce at least not from me when we cook. I think I might add some steamed broccoli florets as it is their fave, your opinion on that addition ? Keep your stick on the ice brother, that was a great ending for Red Green
Hey Steve. Oh my goodness, it was so good. Simple too. It's too bad you don't have hoisin sauce as it'e so good. I'm sure it would be good with broccoli and the girls will certainly love it. Yes, Steven Smith lives about 3 hours from us. Hard to believe he's 75 now. Not sure if I said that or not. LOL. Well, like I said to another person, I have to run to a meeting at Possum Lodge.
I wish you would PLEASE put the recipe in the description so we don’t have to try to find it on a different site. I have to listen to it again if my phone ever quits buffering as it is doing now because I don’t remember the amounts. I went to the site you mentioned, but you cook it in a pressure cooker and I don’t have or want one.
@@CB-os7tl Also we could take a screen shot of the recipe so we wouldn’t have to keep watching the video (or write everything down!). Does he read our comments? I’m giving a thumbs up THIS time. OTHER SITES PUT IT IN THE DESCRIPTION!!
Hi. Sorry folks. I forgot to publish the recipe The link is: cooknshare.com/recipe/recipe/mongolian-ground-beef-in-15-minutes/ I won't overlook this next time.
I sure do read that comments and respond to every one in detail. I forgot to publish the recipe. Sorry it was late. The link is cooknshare.com/recipe/recipe/mongolian-ground-beef-in-15-minutes/ I won't overlook this next time.
@@TheCooknShare Hey Dave. Cases of Covid is on the rise here in Fiji. Hope this second wave is stopped in its tracks soon. We all are being vaccinated in a massive vaccination drive. Stay safe my friend
