Ah, it’s called “sleeping powder” as stated by Grandmother in a previous video🐒

In the video of his first night you see him walking bipedal. So he was trained. Maybe trained to sit still and silent too. Idk if a previous owner trained him or if it was her. Something else I noticed from that "first" night is when he ran off to hide he went straight to a wine rack and his behind the lattice. Looked like he knew right where to go to hide. Seemed quite peculiar that he knew where to go. She seems to treat him well while on camera but we don't know what happens the rest of the time. He barely eats, seems lethargic, never makes any noises, and just doesn't behave like a baby monkey should. In one of the latest videos she takes him to the market with her. He snags some food and gobbles it up. Then a shop owner gives him a banana and he wolfs it down. Stuffs his little pouches to the max. That's weird since he eats so little when she feeds him.

Perhaps the opioid crisis has reached Vietnam...

One thing might be that the babies in natural setting arent talked to. I know they lip smack a nd make noises, but not conversation. Just thinkin. I know it does seem odd cuz they are so quiet and i, talk to my animals a lot. Oh well.

PLEASE DOESN'T ANYONE know that monkeys in a natural life are NOT supposed to be put into water and washed every other minute...or never.... for that matter.....what is WRONG WITH ALL THESE monkey human mothers? If they are all that sick in the head because they need to be surrogate mothers and make like these primates are HUMAN babies.... who have to be bathed all the time....than they need to "GET A LIFE" AND find a human baby to wash go adopt one... or volunteer at an orphanage......and I DO NOT MEAN ORPHAN MONKEYS.

There wasn’t a single word in Susan’s comment that was critical of Monkey Go; I read it as a suggestion, while you read it as some sort of critical manifesto of hate aimed ..at you. The owner of Monkey Go responded politely and seemed genuinely appreciative of the constructive criticism. The only one who is judgemental here is you. It might have been different if you had some positive contribution to add to the discussion, but instead you adopted the fallback position beloved by trolls everywhere: when in doubt, insult!

I'm sure the baths are spaced out. Like daily or every other day....

He’s a Stump tail Macaque. Pigtail macaque have longer legs a different shaped face with detailed specific coat markings on top of the head & down the spine esp is darker fur on pigtails. Plus yes their tails are longer in pigtail macaque. I’ve seen tho as u mention people are having them docked ! If dissected to close to the body and spine it can cause damage to spinal cord and nerves ! There are cases of stumpy like this one having the same damage from diapers and clothing too tight for long periods of time.

Both Stump Tai & Pigtail macaque are indigenous to that part of the world. The northern pigtail macaque is found in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam. The southern pigtail macaque is found in Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. So the northern are indigenous to this area. Their faces are different between the two. If u are familiar with Baby Monkey Nui she is a northern. Where as Shaki and JK from JamilKucing channel are southern.

Del Cee , Gon is a stump-tailed macaque. Doo is same species. (His videos are also on YT.) Monkey Home channel features a 21-year old, Motya; Motya has the red skin on her face and the unusual fur on the head that these stump-tailed or bear monkeys get at maturity. The little female, Miu, is a pig-tailed macaque. I'm not sure how many times this has to be explained before people understand.

catharina genell , it appears you shouldn't assume things not in evidence. Gon is a stump-tailed macaque. His tiny, hairless, pink tail is normal for his breed.
