In this video, I tie the knot commonly referred to as the Monkey's Fist. This knot is most used as the heavy end to heave a line to or from a vessel and can be made using a variety of rope. Small versions serve well as a keychain. Round or cube inserts may be used. This Monkey's Fist was made using parachute cord (paracord) and a small cube of plastic.
