Designed to simplify the repair job, Monroe® Quick-Strut® strut assemblies include all the high-quality components required for strut replacement in a single, fully-assembled unit. There is no need to take apart the existing strut assembly or compress the coil spring. Follow along as a Monroe Quick-Strut is installed on a 2005 Mercury Montego FWD. Keep the following in mind to ensure a successful installation:
1. Disconnect the ball joint
2. Avoid angular load
3. Secure the upper mounting nuts last
