Gameplay of a stage 20+ God run on Monsoon with ALL ARTIFACTS ON. I also briefly go over how you can get some very consistent MAAO runs. Follow me on Twitch: / wooliegaming Join our Discord: / discord
@@Lunk42 Honestly, I'd say a weaker form of it as a white (50 hp max?) would be better, but we already have few enough defensive green options as it is. Drop it down, push shield generator up (and buff it accordingly. Perhaps make each Shield generator have 10% hp and reduce the time till the shield can start to recharge after taking damage? If 5 shield gens made it so that you had about 3-4 seconds before shield recharge started I'd feel far better about them. Def not a linear growth though, prob use the Bandoleer scaling line). First one gives 20% shield, second 30% shield -20% shield charge time, third 40% shield -30% charge time, 4th 50% shield -35% charge time, lather, repeat, just to spitball the numbers.
@@michaelwatkins4155 I agree with you I think it would be better as a white item with 50 hp instead of 100 it'd be easier to get making it more efficient and it wouldn't feel like a waste of green item like it normally does.
As an idea, would it be possible for you to record the game video/audio and your mic input separately from the music you listen to? Then you could just layer them together for your videos without the copyright music.
Yeah, I plan on overhauling my setup when I move outta my current place. Dont wana make any drastic changes yet though (recording & streaming simultaneously with my current setup is possible but not ideal)
He would need to be able to record and stream at the same time which would be difficult if he doesn't have a dedicated streaming setup. Streaming puts everything into 1 audio track unfortunately.
@@scottshim679 The bug started happening after the hotfix to the pc version, so I doubt it will work on console; I think when they fixed Engi's harpoons resetting his mine cd, they broke huntress.
I'll always recommend your videos to newcomers as they're what's helped me take my gameplay to the next level. I used a similar strategy with the daggers but ended killing myself on Stage 3 and never continued trying. Glad to see it works. Congratulations on the run
Been loving MAAO, absolutely huntress runs are the only ones I’ve been able to get past first or second rotation. So much strategy here you are giving that I have not been utilizing! The route possibilities are insane. Thanks woolie
@@sugondese5683 if u get Multi and soulus probes or wisps or anything strong ranged monster it wont matter, its ggs run over 9/10 times. With beetles u can clear stage one with any character very easily. Have you actually tried it?
@@Shockwave231 @Tandoc > farming until you're unkillable. Mild threat is right, character is irrelevant, everything to do with the kin + sacrifice + beetles first stage. Turn off sacrifice and kin, that's actually a real challenge.
Woolie I’ve had a question since the beginning of watching your videos!! How do you get trees to grow in scorched acres. I play on Xbox and all the pots for the trees are knocked over and everything looks messy. Yours looks so much nicer is it PC specific
One thing you should note, the daggers *can* hit yourself/teamates if the daggers go into you whilst trying to hit an enemy, that's why I think it's vital to stack strides of heresy to constantly be in invincibility to not accidentally kill myself
I was actually one stage away from an oblit MAAO run yesterday. Here's somewhat of a comprehensive guide: - The FIRST items you should get are Paul's Goat Hoof and ONE Wax Quail. Being able to escape danger takes priority over dealing damage, because you already have Glass and half enemy health. Your second green should be Ukelele, because it can't accidentally hit you. Stack Ukes to make the lightning reach further away. - NO explosions or fire (except Kjaro's Band). You will get hit and it will hurt. Remember that most anything you have in your arsenal can hit you too. Your Engi turrets, Artificer bombs, pretty much all of it. - Do NOT recruit any damaging drones, friendly fire is on. Healing drones may be worth it because they draw aggro off of you, but any explosions will probably still hit you if you're invisible (Stealthkit) and your drone gets exploded by a Greater Wisp right next to you. Any minions of yours won't target you, but it's very easy to forget and run into the line of fire from a missile drone. - Stack Ukelele, LM Glasses, Tri Tip Dagger, Soldier's Syringe, and Paul's Goat Hoof. Have at least 2 Hopoo Feathers. This will make any survivor you roll useful. - Do not be tempted to rush in the middle of chaos to grab an item. WAIT for it to calm down. Lead enemies away from the loot you want then go back when it is clear. Try to visualize in your head where the item you want is on the Command menu so you don't sit there and get bapped. - Once you have all the movement you need, start stacking Crowbars, Armor-Piercing Rounds, and Old Guillotines. The reason for this should be obvious. After you're painfully stacked on those AND you want to be as safe as possible (at this point you're at stage 8+), focus solely on Infusion and Old War Stealthkits for survivability. Your Dio's should be your safety net, but a run can go horribly wrong when you have to use both Dio's back to back. - Always. Stay. Moving. DO NOT stand still. Bustling Fungus strat does not work here, trust me, you saw Woolie take 60K+ damage in one hit. - Do not progress past the first stage until you collect at least 30 items and try for a Dio's Best Friend (always your first red item because bullshit will happen - get Ceremonial Daggers next). Once you do, immediately beeline for all teleporters and don't get distracted. Focused Convergence might help, but remember the extra danger it puts you in. - Situational awareness will save you. Watch out for Spite bombs, they will fuck you up. Prioritize killing wisps because of their hitscan bullshit. - Always hit up the Lunar shop and get red items. You will get way more greens than you could ever need once you're back out in the action. Dream for Siren's Call if you can for another red. I wouldn't recommend Void Fields unless you're really extremely confident and absolutely need another red item. Do note that you can farm items pretty much infinitely in the Void Fields since time doesn't progress there. - It will probably take several, several do-overs to get a good first stage, which arguably determines the rest of your run. Getting Commando and beetles on the first stage means you're in for a god run. Getting Loader and Clay Templars means it wasn't meant to be, this time. Bonus: Though unorthodox, you could start a lobby with 3 willing friends, start the game MAAO style, then have all 3 friends leave. You won't be able to pause, but now the Siren's Call boss will drop FOUR red items, Void Fields and teleporter drops (yes item count still doubles again from Mountain Shrines) are quadrupled, and Aureulinite (I botched that I'm sure) will drop 4 Halcyon seeds (though they'll probably all spawn as a gross conjoined amalgamation and explode each other...). This will make your run significantly easier.
I prefer calling A16 than MAAO, because when they'll add more artifacts, the current run will no longer be "all artifacts", but it still will be 16 artifacts.
so i was playing with Mul-t Sawblade, i noticed a few things he can run while sawing and he can use his utillity while sawing too making him rather fun to play melee :)
U r the greatest!!! I’ve never seen anyone played a game so good and brake it down step by step like u, your even better than the reviews on IGN!!! 🙏🏿💯 I’ll continue to watch
Got any advice for completing mercenary's No hit challenge in the Prismatic trials? Is it always the exact same artifacts activated everytime and just a different map? Cause it seems impossible to never get hit with friendly fire and No chests active AND wisps spawn from killed enemies ;-;
Dude you control your setup so effortlessly. How about a video on your setup. Do you have an audio mix board or just second screen? What are your audio settings in OBS, etc.
currently I run everything off the same PC and have no external gear aside from my mic setup, which is just: mic > cloudlifter (more gain, less noise) > interface. I use the new NVENC encoder to stream off my GPU and apply a bit of EQ & compression to my mic via a virtual mixer. that's pretty much it. the rest is just constantly alt+tabbing to pause music, switch scenes, etc. I'm thinking about getting a stream deck or something to make these things even faster
The way I did this challenge is by getting lucky and getting a red item right off the bat (and restarting until the enemies on the first stage were beetles), getting a topaz brooch, and then just stacking infusion, tougher times, and shield generators. I managed to get over a thousand HP with a couple transcendences, so I ended up being pretty tanky. Also, I got a Dio's best friend as my second legendary, which saved my life.
Quick question: If you had enough shaped glass stacked and you were on 1hp would that not make u invincible or would everything one shot you because it’s impossible to be below 90% health?
Have you ever thought about record your audio and gameplay while your stream? It would allow you to not have to play audio over what you played during the vod as you could only record your game and mic input, although it would be more taxing on your pc
Dear mr streamer how did you deal with the vengeance artifact during the earlier stages of the run? Did you simply teleport right as it spawned to bypass it?
- No more than 5 Tougher Times (otherwise killing the clone becomes annoying af) - Do NOT have royal capacitor or disposable missiles on you at every 10 minute mark when they spawn - Try getting somewhere that's hard for enemy AI to reach (the clone AI is actually not very smart) - If you whip your camera around you'll see red dots where the clones are if you can't find them - They'll run right into whatever you throw at them (Artificer ice wall, Engi mines, Acrid poison spot, etc) - Fight them at as much of a distance as you can
Just wanted to give you a tip on audio. If you aren't aware theres a program called voicemeeter where you can effectively "bind" audio sources to different "virtual" cables. With this you can set whatever program you listen music through (as long as it supports being able to choose your audio output like in some games) to that cable. For example I listen to music through VLC so on my obs I have a seperate audio track for my mic, game/windows sound, discord, and music. Whenever you dump the video into an editing program such as vegas you'll see multiple audio tracks and all you gotta do is simply delete the whole music audio track. Should make life a bit easier so you don't need to worry about blasting ror2 music over your stream music, game sound, and mic.
I'm aware of this & currently use a virtual mixer. the issue is that I don't record & stream simultaneously - I download my VoD directly from Twitch (which sums the audio.) I am planning an overhaul to my setup to allow recording & streaming
@@Woolie Have you tried gpu encoding? I've been using a gtx970 for the past 6/7 years to stream and record at the same time. Or do you need to get a better one.
How did your Ballista have so many attacks? Is it something from an older patch of the game that works differently now and thats why I don't understand what's going on?
no, vagrant item is based off of missing HP and the curse debuff (shaped glass, glass artifact, tonic affliction) reduces your max HP, so you technically aren't "missing" anything
It doesn't - you just don't have a need for other commons past a point, so you may as well stack keys (and get a very high likelihood of getting a red per stage after getting enough)
Hey. Does anyone know the name of the song playing at 12:48 ? sounds great so im trying to find it. The Guitar one, not the second song playing whos name is on the side.
