I haven't finished watching the stream playback, but I really want the construction worker who was going to destroy the reserve to get the full Hallmark Channel big-city girl ends up in small town and falls in love with the person who reminds her of the true spirit of Christmas plot line.

Maybe some day it'll be overdone, but for now I always appreciate a game that knows "combat" can be a lot of things. Like the volleyball here or the way ooblets is about dance offs.

I am from Herts in the UK and sometimes I visit my boyfriend in Minneapolis, and I had to come up with like, a stock response for when people clock my accent, because everyone in Minneapolis is fuckin *delighted* to hear a non-American. So they go 'Oh! Do I hear an accent??' and I go 'oh, you got me!' and we chuckle and it's very cute.

This is one of the rare occasions where a stream has gotten me hyped enough to actually wishlist a game I hadn’t heard about before. It genuinely looks so precious and fun, like it’ll scratch tht pokemon itch w/ some sports on top of it. Can’t wait till it is fully released.

My Boppa, who married my grandmother when my mom was 2, was from Arkansas and all of the rest of his family was from there. When I knew him, and for most of my mom's life, he didn't have much of if at all of a Southern accent. As someone just the right age to have listened to the Romeo + Juliet soundtrack nonstop as a teen (initially because when my sibling and I each got our first CD when we finally got a CD player that was theirs and so it was on half of the time after school, then later because I realized it was actually pretty good and listened on purpose), thanks for saying "little scar" and therefore getting "Little Star" but with a word substitution stuck in my head the rest of the day

Since the game includes a They/Them option, I wouldn't mind a cosmetic option to play as something other then human (I can't even think of a monster collection game that does), maybe something like an anthropomorphic character like those in the "Chicory: A Colorful Tale" game. The game could pass it off as the player wearing a Beastieball mascot costume, and base it after one of the (starters or popular?) beasties. I'll probably get the game regardless, but its wishfully thinking, I guess. Seeing interesting/unique-looking trainers in pokemon games, like the kid in the eevee costume, got me thinking about it.
