Great jaggi shall finally garner the respect that it deserves

It's a hard choice between Hellblade Glavenus, Nergigante and Abyssal Lagiacrus.. But my vote goes to Abyssal Lagiacrus! Happy 20th Anniversary Monster Hunter!

20 years and I've almost been a part of every single one... Freedom was where it all began. Happy anniversary monster hunter, may the best monster win!

It was hard to choose between Tigrex, Lagiacrus and Nergigante for me, but I went for Lagiacrus.

Can’t believe it’s been 15 years since I first started this series with Freedom on the PSP. It’s been an absolute blast playing with you all, here’s to 15 more!!

My favorite monster is a monster that has not been in the series for a while and needs a return my boi gogmazio

Now this is the hardest question for sure, there are so many cool monsters, you have to take music, ecology, theme and inspiration all into consideration. So many cool monsters to pick only one. In no particular order my favorites are Najarala, Xenojiiva, Brachydios, Glavenos, Legiacrus, Zinogre, Yama, Amatsu, Nergigante, Kushala, Rajang, Primordial Malzeno, Gore, Tigrex, Narga and Alatreon. For the life of me i can't pick one but i will stop overthinking and go with Valstrax.

Time to give my boy Lagiacrus the respect he deserves after being tossed out of the new world

Voted for Ahtal-Ka. Not sure it's my absolute favorite, but all my other favorites (Valstrax, Alatreon, etc) already had their time in the spotlight in the 5th Gen, so I'm satisfied. I'd really want Ahtal-Ka to come back, that fight was amazing. Also hoping for the glorious return of the best feesh Plesioth, I miss him.

I'm not going to hold out hope for a top 3 finish, but I will stay true to my heart and vote for my boi Nibblesnarf.

I'm simply hunter, I hear "proof of hero" and I cry

Shagaru Magala for me, I love his theme, his attacks and his biography not to mention Shagaru in MH4 was the only monster that felt like a "rival".

Maybe some bias here as a Generations starter but my vote goes for Glavenus. His moveset is so deliberate and fun. Plus greatsword tail.

Man this was such a tough choice. Ive always loved mizutsune and his rare species in rise was top teir. Crimson glow valstrax was one of my favorite hunts as well but i had to give it to Amatsu. The hunt in rise left me in awe. They really did such a great job showing his power

Lagiacrus has my vote! Tri was my first Monster Hunter game and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope my electric crocodile boi finally returns in the next game! 🙏

CONGRAT FOR 20 ANNIVERSARY !!!I HOPE FOR MH6!!!

Might be an unusual pick, but something about Fulgur Anjanath's design, the electricity coursing through it's dorsal flaps and fur, the roar, the fight. There's something about him that truly stands out to me among so many great picks from the new and old world alike.

It was a tough choice for sure. Their are so many amazing monsters to choose from, but I had to pick Ceadeus. MHTri was my first monhun game and I've got so many emotions tied to that fight, the ending and credits still brings tears to the eyes. He probably wont even make top 100, but thats ok.

I have like 10 monsters who could be considered my favorite but this time had to go with Ahtal-ka. Genuinely the most surprising monster in the series and was kinda disappointed she didn’t come back for Sunbreak since fighting her with wirebugs would have been actually insane

One of the hardest votes ever...In the end I had to pick the fight that shook me to my core the most and that was Raging Brachy

Even though I've never picked up an MH game before, I really enjoy the series, and I've had an amazing time learning about this awesome world! Thank you, Capcom, for all the love and hard work you’ve put into the 20 years of this franchise. On a less sappy note, my choice would have to be between Xeno’jiiva, Mizutsune, Somnacanth, and Shara Ishvalda, solely because I'm biased, and they’re my favorites. Update: I’ve finally picked up a MH game and have fallen even more in love with the series :)

Gammoth is under appreciated, I'm disappointed they only did 3 of the Fated 4 in MHRise.

I know I'll die on a hill, but at least it will be with my boi Gigginox

Amatsu for me, such a majestic elder dragon in terms of design especially its horns that glows like a crown, since most elder dragons used the kushala skeleton its refreshing that its the first leviathan elder and its a very beautiful at that, its also based on an east asian dragon. It was a tough choice between scorned, nergi, narga, akantor, ukanlos, espinas, and teo soooo yes no turning back now

Been playing since Tri on the Wii. My pick might be a little basic, but for me, nothing beats the feeling of fighting a good old Rathian with a lance.

The reveal of the hunter lineup with the flagship monsters lineup was so cool

229 monsters in all the games combined wow it really is a long list and I'm so happy to be a Monster Hunter and cant wait for even more monsters in the future.

Nergigante without a doubt he's my first favorite monster in the series and a pretty unique Elder design with a cool niche in the ecosystem being a predator to Elder Dragons but realistically not always having a complete upper hand over his prey. I would like to see him stick around in future stories set in the New World continent, or maybe a related species to shed more light on the weird biology of the more basal elder dragons like him who seem most primitive and having odd similarities to Fatalis, maybe the original can get a new fighting style design for future entries, I personally like the original's look more than Ruiner. But its alright to give some waiting time too, his return could be more hype that way.

Am I the only one who actually think that the Royal Ludroth is extra cool ? Also my boy Great Maccao deserve some love

Gore Magala is and always will be my favorite. 4U was my first monster hunter, and I never really played a hard game before. Gore was my first real wall, and the satisfaction of beating him has stuck with me, even 8 years later.

Chameleos has always been my favorite monster since the beginning, doubt many will agree though

Man this is so incredibly difficult to choose, but I think I want to give it to Lagiacrus. I started in Freedom, but I didn't even get to high rank until Tri, and Lagiacrus was one of my "wall" monsters. On a less objective note, the whole "sea leviathan" thing was so powerful, crapping yourself as he swam towards you from the ocean. Plus his weapons were pretty dope too. lastly, he would be a great return if they have swimming in 6.

Capcom casually shadow-dropping Bazel and a new Lao-Shan render like it's nothing.

I’m so torn. The fights I had as a Lance player against Nergigante were my all time favourite. Rajang across its history in the series is just peak Monster Hunter to me. And then there’s the outlier. The psychotic chicken. Yian Garuga….. I can’t explain it. It’s like the ugliest little chihuahua with the temperament to match.

Kecha Wacha is still my favorite mon, I hope that goofball makes it in MH6.

Really wish it was Top 3 and not just 1. Wanted to show love to my number 2 and 3, Nakarkos and Dreadking Rathalos, but in the end, I’m a Tri guy who’ll never stop loving Alatreon.

Most memorable monster for me would be the Tigrex. Poor kiddo me just couldn't get the popo tongues for that mission on the PSP, fast forward to Tri and it still hurt when that beast came round the corner. Even now as I walked into the hoarfrost reach for the first time, seeing the popo sent a wave of fear and excitement down my spine... let's get my arch enemy to the top hunters, please?

This is soo cool and so hard to choose. I gotta pick my favorites man, deviljho and teostra and maybe lagiacrus. 😊

Espinas, Bazel, and Tetra are definitely my top 3!

As much as I wanted to pick other monsters, I felt compelled to support Espinas, not because he's my favorite of all time, but to support Frontier inclusions as a whole. If not Espinas, I would have chosen Alatreon, (ik, I'm basic) Hellblade, or Kulve. Liking the diverse answers and takes here in the comments! Happy 20th anniversary!!

I gotta give it to shagaru magala, I still remember being so hyped fighting him in that arena with the theme popping off in mh4u

I was torn between Lagiacrus, Amatsu & Espinas. Love them all but eventually settled on the spiny lunatic in the end, his fight is just so high-octane & the ecology given to him in Sunbreak greatly fleshed out his place in the ecosystem! Plus it’s the Frontier posterboy, hard for me to not like him. But man does time fly, been with the series since 3U. Happy 20th anniversary hunters!!! :D

Namielle and Astelos are two of the best imo, but Glavenus, Velkhana and Shara Ishvalda follow close behind

Really wish the vote allowed us to choose 5 in order but since I’m limited to one, Valstrax had to make it, but I had considered Ahtal-Ka, Primordial Malzeno, Goss Harag and so many more on top of that. This franchise is a truly beautiful thing and I’m so excited to see where we hunters will be going next. From Moga Village to Elgado I’ll never forget my journeys in this wonderful world. To another 20 years after!

I think we all can agree, this will be a tough one. Because there are so many god-tier monsters in this series/franchise. Edit: Btw. it would be so damn cool, if all of the top 3 monsters are featured in MH6! (Maybe even top 5 with base + dlc included as a chance to feature them in the game!)
